Any Intel as to why one end of the car has the face-lift and the other doesn't?

On the contrary, very rare, restored and very appealing to a BMW licker like me. I had a 1971 2000 BMW Neue Klasse about 15 years ago and kick myself for selling it, if I had the 'heated space' to be store it....

I know where there's a white one with front end damage that's been sat since the 70's if it's still there.
