^ has that one even got an engine, or is it just a picture of one, as the arse end seems to be up in the air with the wheels tucking in

as the ember glow HLS seemed to be up for £5k+ recently i honestly thought this hatchback wedge was not unreasonable ASSUMING that the condition of the car is as nice as it looks in the pictures.

BUT i am a halfwit who likes BL's "finest" products.

Some posh London-based 'foodie'-type couple will snap that up.

Like the ones I saw in Cornwall this summer, physically pushing a pristine one down a busy road near St Ives.

The look on the face of the person (the wife in this case) pushing the thing were consistent with spending £20K on something that has just thumped your ear-drums for five hours at 50mph, which has just broken down.

I've been doing a study on this blighter

princess_klassieker_hfd.jpg  < when interviewed for Dutch magazine in 2009

He said he chose the car over the SD1 as it was for business use and didn't want to be 'too flashy'.  He drove it over to Torcars to be converted and repainted while on holiday in UK.

It has done more than 400k km.  'Exchange' engine at 260k km.

Last time I was in one of these, my mate was was driving and my other mate was on the roof... at 2am... down a dark country lane...

Ahh, the memories of a vaguely misspent youth.

Don't think I'd pay £4k to relive it though.

He looks like my old boss, Lenny Vale.

I drove an artic for him between 1976 and 1981.

While I was there, he bought himself a brand spanking new top of the range Marina.

Wonder if the car is still alive?

I shouldn't think old Lenny is.

Let me guess "which is nothing for one of these engines "

This Granny estate for £750 does seem a genuine decent deal. Mot has lapsed, but doesn't sound like it needs too much. I really, really hope a decent buyer snaps it up before a banger knob comes along with a trailer.
