My VW has 6 windows. Does that mean it's worth £24,000?

If I was going to spend £90k on somewhere to sleep, it'd have a postcode.

It's comedy really. All that scene tax and all that money for something that's complete shite, 50 years out of date and slower than a snail. For that amount of money you could get something decent, like a K reg Talbot Express.

I'm planning on Bidding on this. I'm thinking it'll go to Ã‚£45K at auction add a £15K refurb, and flog it for £75K.

£75K for a refurbed 2-bed end terrace?  I can hear the Londoners weeping into their pints from here.

Also, it's reassuring to know that there's somewhere in England that I could afford to buy a house...

Partridge, is this your car?

It seems to feature a cock positioned adjacent to the "GB" plate...

I seem to remember posting one of these in similar looking condition for a few hundred quid in the Tat thread a while back. Wonder what he wants for this one....

I can only assume this guy reckons it's 2114 and his mortgage is 3.5 Million pounds on a 2 bed Terrace.

Might be the wrong thread. This is for the hilarously overpriced cars for sale.

Opps, sorry, you just can't get the staff these days  :-D

This is a rather lovely thing (apart from having the wrong wheels) and the interior is a masterpiece in beige:

However £13k is just plain mental even if it has only done 12,500 miles.

Having said that this is one of those lottery win cars that I'd buy in a heartbeat even at that price if I had more money than I knew what to do with.

at an even more mindbending £15k!

Well that's successfully poured ice cold water on my Saab horn

Mental, they're out by a factor of ten.  It's nice enough but not the most desirable spec and you'd think they'd clean it properly at that price, the dash is filthy in the mileage picture and it looks like the sunroof is leaking judging by the water stains on the driver's seat (oh please let it be that and nothing else).

I don't think even the very best Coupes are worth that sort of money yet.

I think that this (the 900) has been offered for sale at this and other optimistic prices for some time - might even be three or four years.  It's a lovely-looking example, certainly, but you can get others that are 90% as good for half the price, or less.  I'm sure someone, somewhere, at some point will think that this is worth £15,000.00, but mostly people will choose to pay a third as much for what is still a very nice 900 ragtop.  That's certainly how my money would go.

I can beat that with some VW Scene tax. I think a similar one to this was spotted by Wuuvum last week and allegedly sold for about 800 quid.

How facking much!!!

If it hadn't had the o/ s/ front corner mullered it would be worth £20,000 ,probably.
