Top spotting! They look like LX/i wheels and the sides of the car are too 'clean'.

I suppose that GTE whilst not exactly a bargain isn't too far out of bed. Having said that something about it doesn't look right to me, can't put my finger on it though.

Yes, the wheels and missing trim aren't quite right, but I rather like the attempt to clean up the lines, it somehow modernises the car's appearance without going too far. That aside though, it is missing some original parts, surely these Astras aren't worth that much yet?

They're getting there now, slowly but surely.

OK not e-bay or even a complete car. But it’s (undercover) certainly shite.

Hammer of the gods supernatural! You'd think that for nearly £14k you'd be getting a Beetle Convertible made by Karmann, rather than an averagely successful hi-fi manufacturer?!!!

The instrumentation lighting looks pretty fugging efficient though......

Fucking hell, the increasing trend towards really long wordy adverts is really doing my head in. Worst thing is they do actually seem to affect simple minded fools to part with insane amounts of cash for cars, so expect it to take all night to read the Autotrader from now on.

When the vendor uses bollocks like "a full paintwork refresh was commisioned" instead of "we rang Dent Devils", or ponders the life history of a previous owner you know you are in for a long ride

That BMW....Bought '86 April for L&C's collection, sold October '86. 6 months??

Hmmmm I smell ballshit and someone trying to cash in on L&C's, granted, all due 'fame' for having minters which being local they did have some beautiful stuff in the windows on a regular basis.

I opened that M6 advert thinking there's no way I can be shocked at the price of this knowing how much I've seen tidy ones for in the past. I was wrong.

4500 and he hasn't even painted the patches he's welded into the fucking floor, what a turd shoveller

Be fair, Testes. He IS throwing in the front bumper AND the registration plate... :D

But anyone who thinks he is going to sort the tracking within that price can go fuck themselves

the bits that are welded on look to fairly well attached, it's not snotted on then hidden under a load of seam sealer and shultz which a lot of the shiny "fully restored" stuff is. ignoring the price, it does sit pretty well.

There's nothing like a chancer, and this is nothing like a chancer, more of a piss taker, £4500 for this rusty bag of shite.

That was the conclusion I first jumped to but on reflection I might give the guy a break, I bet the reason for the ad is his missus insisting he thin out his chod collection and this way he can show he is "trying" to comply. The crazy price means there'll be zero interest and he can hang onto it a bit longer.
