Guest
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121038568038? ... 1423.l2649 Worth double any others on ebay in recent few months. 4 in last month no bids at £250...Rare? Very rare? Oh really.Sent a message stating the above got a reply insisting they are "quite" rare and there's 398 Vespas on ebay?????????????? What????Photos of my arse on ebay are very rare, in fact hens teeth, non existant but that doesn't make one worth a gazillion.Ah but has a unique number plate....... "I suppose it just seems what you and I class as 'rare' differs. 4 listings in a month compared to for example a Vespa (398 on ebay right at this moment), I'd say that makes the Ariel 3 quite rare. By BSAs own admission they severely under produced this vehicle too. There aren't that many, ones Ive seen have been used mainly as marketing tools and customised so this is a nice original one.Yes it has been running, yes it's complete and has spares and yes there's a V5. It was partly stripped ready to be shot blasted but the owner had too many projects on and had to prioritise. "
fotorabia
Suddenly that Volvo 262c on the eBay tat thread doesn't seem so salty at 5 bags - this Euro spec one is up for £15k and you'll have to go to Munich to get it: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C306784# Plus the roof's not even vinyl. I'm out. Skizzer..for Munich..nothing unusual about that...when i lived there [90-92]I was told ..here..treble the normal asking price...we came across a completely rooted 64 Thunderbird..rusty..flat tyres..i asked how much..they said 25000DM [about 8000squid]..i nrly fell over..id just prior been in the States and that car would have been under $1000! Mr Lobster
I know these fetch decent money but even so... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-1962-Split ... 2c6b1abe27 Just imagine, you could hand over the best part of £3k for this then within a matter of a mere couple of decades, few tonnes of welding wire and about another £100k in new parts you could be ready to fit a pineapple on the roof ready for the show circuit. outlaw118
I've mentioned this place before, and i know Trigger is aware of it, but i'm not sure the website has ever been posted.Last time i went down there they had literally hundreds of cars there, in various stages of decay, some having tax discs dating back 7 years.Anyways, their whole company ethic is to "stack high and sell cheap" type of thing....but have a look at the stock list, and nothing looks that bargainous to me....http://www.eastcoastsalvage.co.uk/vehicles.aspx

They sell anything they get given. 2005 Laguna with "FSH and 1YR MOT" that had no brakes2008 Vectra with duff gearbox Trading standards hoofed over there and closed them down. Their website isn't up to date either as most pictures are of the old yard. Wouldn't go within 50 feet of them after I test drove an A-Class 210 model where the electric window switch pack was actually flapping around in the centre console. They did have much bargainous shite, but the prices on the site were non-negotiable due to the agreement with the supplier or something. Rotted Calibra 8v was £2,000 when I went there 5 years back. Was genuinely fit for scrap.
