200k for a DS is ALOT, even if it is a fancy drophead one. Before I clicked I thought maybe £60,000, perhaps £75,000 tops.

One sold for 220k earlier in the year. They do occasionally fetch very, very silly money rather than just silly.

They are a lovely thing but I can think of many better ways of doing £200k that that.

NOW INCLUSIVE OF THE PRIVATE PLATE NUMBER (WORTH ABOUT 350 POUNDS)

It'd probably cost more than that to send the Nissan through its MOT to recover the plate
And all you'll end up with is a wanky Norn Iron plate - I challenge his definition of 'worth'. You can buy similar from the back of autotrader for £250 or so and not have a MoTless scabby car to deal with.

I had one of those Nissan's. It was only 200 sovs in 2004. It did seem fairly indestructible though. That one's gotta be useless though if it's a left hooker.

Now there's no denying that this is a clean looking van, My dad had one new and I'd happy have one now, But is it really worth £4995?!

I think classic van/pick up tax is actually set at a higher rate than VW scene tax. I think the Chancellor should get involved. And perhaps the Bank of England.

yes we had one as 'temp' transport in the late 70's, all I remember is the suspension collapsing on one side and the bonnet flying open on a hump bridge

Loving their brown '82 911sc though.I'm no expert on porker prices but i think £11k is ok?

£11k is probably a little high but not certainly not extortinate - especially for a dealer. It is one of the least desirable 911s though, and at that mileage if it's not had a top end rebuild it'll no doubt need one soon.

I would pay £4k just for that ace rev counter/speedo layout

I love these 1st Gen Preludes. The controls for the radio are just as bonkers.

I keep meaning to post this one, This garage is advertised everyday in my local rag but they have had the same stock now for at least a year, I wonder why?!.

CUCKOO!Ten large for a 200T? Who on earth is going to buy that when they could a relatively new diesel one with all the bells and whistles?Do classic car dealers live in some sort of fantasy land where they expect people to be beating a path to their door with £7,000 for a Cortina Mk5?Never understood the mentality of people like that, surely it's best to advertise at about £2000, get a quick sale then sell other stuff than have it sitting their for months on end?

But it is the ultra rare one made in 1987!

I always assumed that car lots where nothing moves were more about money laundering than selling cars, though you would need some kind of transactions going on I suppose.

He's got a few...err...optimistic prices on his site. How about 4 large for a 2002 Perodua Kenari 1.0

That BMW was being advertised locally (with the same photo) something like four years ago I reckon. As was the black MG beside it. I'm sure they were asking less (but not much less) back then. I guess the prices have had to go up to cover storage for all that time? :?

this has just gone up - but with a starting price of £450 I suspect the reserve will be high

lovely example - you just don't see em anymore - I had one in the early '90s and thought at the time it was desperate - but - it never ever let me down was vey cheap to run and even when first made was past it...

lovely - look at that interior!
