Asking for a friend*

Has anyone got any experience of one of these?

 New Harley-Davidson TOURING FLHX STREET GLIDE for sale in London | 2025 | £29,845 | Warr's H-D | Bike ID 299725

I did read they're not too bad at low speeds etc, and obviously  nobody is going to buy one for the performance, but what are they like to live with?

I’ve had mine since new, an earlier model than in your pic. I’m a bit biased but they’re bloody marvellous. Take one for a proper ride, half hour round the block won’t give you a proper idea. They are big heavy bikes so pulling them out of the garage takes a bit of effort but once moving they’re fine.
Don’t believe all the stories of oil leaks, breakdowns and poor brakes. Not any more. I’ve had three HDs over the last twenty years and never been left by the side of the road.
If you have any questions just get in touch.

Just shy of 60 miles on the GS today. Wasn't the brightest or warmest ride, but good to get out. The back roads past Wrexham to Whitchurch were quite quiet, and I managed some decent overtakes on the A41. Had originally planned to go Oswestry, (old) A5 to Shrewsbury then back along the A49, a brew at The Raven then home down the A41, but cut it short due to the greyness of the day

May be an image of motorcycle, dirt bike and text

Got home and yanked the MBX out of hibernation. Battery totally flat, no fuel and hasn't run in a very long time.  Can of pez, whacked the fuel and choke on and it fired up 3rd kick. Still haven't got round to finding out why it is shit to start/run when it's warmed up though. Did buy a new coil a few years ago, will try that if I can find where I left it.

May be an image of scooter, dirt bike, motorcycle and text that says "HONDAL TION HONDA DA"

Fantastic roads. I've never done those on a bike, but in the Porsche 924 Owners Club we visit that area every summer to enjoy the roads and history. Metheringham runway just happens to be a public road with a good excuse to test the err, acceleration of our cars.image.jpeg.4c6f2bd28294491c70e988df73c417f1.jpeg

My busa goes on ebay tonight. I hope it doesn't attract the same type of idiots you get selling a cheap car.

Change your main picture. It is just showing the front mudguard.

Ebay wont let me swap them around even though there are no bidders.

Edit the listing delete them all and put them one by one in order. I thought you could select your main picture though.

Either way that main picture won't help it sell very well.
