Spotted in Sketty in Swansea yesterday .. an early arrow shaped Minx, with what possibly looked like the original owner walking away from it! Just as they looked 30 years ago, all wobbed up and cheaply blown over!post-20412-0-07651500-1470476318_thumb.jpg

At the tip this morning, carrying its own weight in loft insulation.

My favourite sort of Mk3 Escort.  Spotted in, sold in and registered in Hereford.

Would it be CVH or pushrod? That rear wiper might have been an expensive option.

Good!, I s'pose if it was CVH it would have expired years ago.

The tractor next door.

Zetor, 3 cylinder, takes a long time to start and the exhaust is very blue. I bet it hasn't had an oil change for decades.

That is a lot of wob!

3 owners, last changed hands in 2012.

Ford had generously made the rear wiper standard equipment by 1989. Nice find.

Not quite lazy spotting, more lazy scanning as these are old photographs, but didn't think it was worth a separate thread and didn't know where else to put them

Abandoned Bristol, I agonsised over this as I could have had it really cheap, but the ownership was uncertain and I chickened out

This was my mate's TR7 wating for a replacement engine, so I loaned him the Trabant seen in the background. (Last time I checked the TR7 was still going, but now red white and blue with a V8.

Here are the spotted highlights of the last month.

Firstly there is this Mk2 in Bury St Edmunds which I tend to see quite regularly, but only decided to take a photo of it recently as it is one of those cars that even though you know it is something uncommon, you still take it for granted whenever you see it.

post-20228-0-03210500-1470746602_thumb.jpgpost-20228-0-73214600-1470746635_thumb.jpg

Also spotted that same day. I am not too sure whether this is of interest of too many many on here, as it is a Golf GTI, but I thought it was worth posting on here as it seemed to have no signs of being a victim of pineappling and looks like it is still being used regularly.

4 in 1 picture. When I saw this it felt like it could have been a scene from 20 years ago. An 80s 6 series, 2 E36's and a poverty spec Carina.

post-20228-0-56665700-1470747201_thumb.jpg

2.5 turbo. Very nice to see as you never really see them out and about.

post-20228-0-67514100-1470747529_thumb.jpg

Not a Cavalier, but a right hand drive Ascona (probably imported from Ireland). These pictures are from a while ago, but I never posted them here. I recently saw this same car drive past whilst I was at a petrol station, but missed snapping it then, so decided to post these unseen and older pictures up.

post-20228-0-21746000-1470747852_thumb.jpg

1.4 GTS that is two streets over from me. I had never noticed it before, as I don't really ever go down it, but it was nice to see one.

And finally this Escort. Never seen around here before, but still looks like it is being used as an everyday car. Maybe these things are tougher than I thought they were.

If anyone is interested, I can post up the pictures that I had posted during the forum problems we had not too long ago.

Here's some odds and sods I've spotted in the last few weeks, that I've managed to snap:

28864458746_5c57c6f6ec_c.jpg

Tidy MX5 at Meadowhall.

28864445426_08b06d2ea7_c.jpg

It's the bastard child of Old Man's and Ken's A4s! Early model, with 2.6 V6 but green and FWD. (2.6 non-quattro is a seemingly very rare spec for these).

28864447186_38c44d92e2_c.jpg

There are a lot of Land Rovers in Glossop for some reason. Here's one being worked on. The wings were bare metal...

28895448925_b76fe2e073_c.jpg

What's this? Was LHD and 1978/T reg.

28280303253_d08b817f84_c.jpg

And a four door Honda Logo  I think this was imported.

Only a few spots to mention. First there was a 1983 A-reg Renault 11 hatch in Mike Douglas's scrappy (sorry no pic), along with this 1.4 Volvo 300 with missing prop, n/s/f wing and knackered bonnet.

post-19900-0-96981700-1470951279_thumb.jpg

There were very few old pieces of chod around but I did see a Pug 205 and a C15 van in amongst things.

Then over at Morrisons a regular of their car park.

And finally a Crouton at Tosco Dumfries.

This must be really loved judging by the MOT work needed over the years.

There was another A40 behind the fence

as well as this, which DVLA tells me is a 1950.

Well unless it's a baby BMW.

I stood next to this to take the picture of the e30, then realised how much more spot worthy the Fiesta is !

Have you hunted it down and bought it yet?

Negative. I've got feelers out everywhere but am beginning to think that it might not be a locally owned car. Grrr.
