NorfolkNWeigh
30 odd years ago I used to drive these things under protest, I thought they were old fashioned, slow barges that broke down all the time. Now I drive a fast, reliable economical boring car and want an old Jag so much it hurts. worldofceri, Magnificent Rustbucket, RobT and 2 others

NorfolkNWeigh
I'm sure someone with more knowledge of The Emerald Isle will be along to correct or expand on this, but I think the ZV black plate is something you can request for older cars in the Republic, rather than have to have those nasty white Europlates. NorfolkNWeigh
Despite the roof rack , this is a totally standard unpineappled 16valve Mk2. One owner from new apparently, belongs to brother of a guy I picked up this morning, it hasn't moved for about 3 years. He said he worries that one day his wife will have called the scrap man to take it away----He's in China for 3 weeks, I may go and see his wife and offer her £50....... worldofceri

scruff
This is at our village garage- what is it?? Apart from the 80s Ford door handles it looked quite good, well I thought so but looking now it has slightly odd proportions around the grille. worldofceri

barefoot
Today, I was signalling right and in my mirror I spotted a Wartburg Knight. As beige as you like, bearing down on me in a cloud of two stroke. I turned very slowly and waved out of the window to the driver who gave me cheery wave back. What a fucking row!No photo, but I scene it. NorfolkNWeigh
This, as can quite clearly be seen by my superior photographic skills , is a Renault Avantime with a vinyl wrap promoting a gardener. Floral and Hardy . spartacus
A few from the last couple of days, it's got to the stage now where if my girls, (8 years), are in the car with me and see something oldish, they say,'stop daddy, get a picture,' or similar, they're getting pretty good at spotting now. Also have begun to indoctrinate them on usage of AS slang, so now 'giffer' and its variations and 'JRG' are in regular use, much to ex Mrs Sparts disgust!Anyway, I digress, pictures... Brodders
Shite highlights of the week 1985 Sierra 2.0 S. Saw this whilst in town. Seems to be in really good nick, apart from a little bit of rust on the left rear wheel arch. Had a chat with the owner who has owned it from new and only done around 85000 in that time. Saw this 205 in a Tesco car park the other day, with bonus shot of the Rover in the background. catsinthewelder, Jim Bergerac, Laseraligningfoofooflanges and 3 others

I heard he was going to leave it to his son to build a kit car out off!He told me about his son wanting to make a kit car out of it, but I don't think he was too keen on it himself, which I am not surprised about after having it for so long. Hopefully the son will have a change of heart as it is very nice and seems good mechanically (only judged by him starting it up and driving off afterwards)
spartacus
Some from the last few days, peachy young lady driving the Midget, I did try a 'winning smile', but with the combination of the fact I was driving my van with tinted side windows she probably thought I was just some ex BBC type looking to touch her up...
