Wektor

Thats an amazing spot (both Spartacus for spotting it in the first place and Sir Snipes for knowing what the fuck it was). Wikipedia says (translated from Kraut):

Wektor automobiles and design was a German manufacturer of automobiles .

Company History [ Edit | Edit source ]

Johann Bergmeier founded the company in Unteriglbach in 1988 and started producing automobiles. The brand name was Wektor . In 1991, production ended after 68 copies had been made. In the 1996 model year , the company was based at Hifering 5 in Ortenburg and was again active as an automobile manufacturer.

Vehicles [ Edit | Edit source ]

The first model was the Competition . This was a sports car based on the Toyota Supra . The drive was provided by a six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3000 cm³ , turbocharger and 330 to 420 hp . The body shape was that of a coupe with a Targa roof . The new price was DM 120,000 .

The W 48 offered in the 1996 model year was based on the Toyota MR 2 . The chassis was reinforced. The coupé body resembled Ferrari models. The drive was provided by four-cylinder engines from the MR 2, which were optionally available with and without a turbocharger and produced between 156 and 330 hp. The new price was 92,000 DM and the delivery time was eight weeks.

The moment I knew that I had no clue what it was, was also the moment I knew that the collective knowledge of AS would come good.

Spotted in Dunstable.  Few minutes after snapping this little Corsa...do I spy a possible base model example?

Well-used top of the range 2500s spotted in Edinburgh this afternoon, some real patina here. Almost 8000 miles driven between 2018 and 2019 MoT's according to online history.

We see quite a few less expected US motors around here, here's yesterday's spot in that category.

There's a more scruffy blue one which I see from time to time too.

The black and silver plates on that Lancer are incredibly jarring.

Never quite understand what makes people put black/silver plates on a modern

I've seen so much shite in Edinburgh recently since I've been giving my friend lessons in the Skoda its been unbelievable. Wish I was able to use my phone while teaching! So much missed stuff :( Everything from old Reliants to more "modern" cars like an N plate astra we used for parallel parking ? anyway heres a few I did manage to take while out and about.

I took a pic of this civic back in January with a note to myself to see if it passes its next MOT.

Jeepers. I've been there like seven times and taken hundreds of photos, and never seen a Rayton Fissore. In fact I've never seen one in all the parts of Italy I've been.

This one seemingly resides or frequents an address near the Irish College. I have seen it a few times since.
