panhard65 Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 My other half is getting good at spotting shite and has threatened to sign up as well. Here is her latest offering. michael t 1
trigger Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 A few spots from the last few days. This belongs to my mate who thinks he's Anneka Rice. It's basically a Discovery 200 TDi in a part frock, I like it. I went to a Autojumble this morning and apart from paying £12 for a "Cortina" clutch which turned out to be a Datsun Laurel 2.4 clutch i saw these. This GSA is stunning, it was like new inside and out, I looked at the mileage but i couldn't tell if it was 87000 or 8700, doe these have 6 digit millimeters?. The Standard was rather HOT too. And this Austin Seven had part of it carb sticking out of the bonnet!, Most strange arrangement. forddeliveryboy, Jim Bergerac, Ratdat and 3 others 6
Guest chrissie-b Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 mmmmm you've taught me all I know about autoshite x
Jon Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 That Mini's been chopped down a fair bit Trig, hence the carb sticking out the bonnet. Not sure if the top half has been altered much (apart from the de-seaming) but take a look at the petrol filler cap, which should be below the window line. Shows how much has been chopped from the bottom half, hence the shallower engine bay. It gives the effect that it's wearing larger sized later wheels but they're standard 10" ones - they just look massive in comparison to the rest of the body! Oh and please tell me that those aren't supposed to be rear doors on the AnnekaRice-mobile? Very pie unfriendly, if so. BTW, have you sacked off your spotted thread? Hope not.
HillmanImp Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 Why would you make a Mini smaller? Maybe they were trying to make this: Squire_Dawson and ShiteRider 2
trigger Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I hadn't even noticed it been cut down, Looks a decent job in that case, he was friends with matey in the Standard as i watched them leave together. There's no rear seats in the Daker, just doors to a load area, as for my old spotted thread, well I've found it easier just to post in this one now, no one really commented on my thread anymore so kinda sacked it off in the end, maybe i should try and find it again?.
DodgyBastard Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 While out on a random Sunday drive in the 340 I spotted a house on its own with what looked like a 340 sitting down the side and a bunch of other cars around the back. I headed towards the house and went up the drive, this is what I found! There was about 15 volvo 340's from what I could see, I gave the door a knock but there was no answer. I'll need to go back to find out the story... Jim Bergerac and forddeliveryboy 2
Asimo Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 It's behind Kwikfit at Lockwood. Seems to be a fair bit of turnaround going on! Another angle. How is that orange coupe shell (Fiat 850?) hovering unsupported between the Audi and the Autobianchi van? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jim Bergerac Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 This never moves and until now I've been consistently too lazy to picture it: These have been getting a bit of love on here lately and this one caused me trouser arousal: EDIT: No idea on why the aspect ratio is like that. They're fine if you click to view in full size though. HMC, michael t and EssDeeWon 3
AlabamaShrimp Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 These are over the last few days or so And some amazing parking
HMC Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Local supermarket spots. Quite a late gaffa taped maestro - maybe a Ledbury- looked like a proper old workhorse. brickwall, Jim Bergerac, michael t and 1 other 4

Ratdat Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Here's some worthy old shit I've seen recently... Spied this sat in a driveway in Boston. I sent the dude a text but he message me back saying he wanted 3 grand for it. Oh how I lol'd. It's a wee bit grotty but apparently only has 40k on the clock... Local giffer transport... Car boot sale chod. A remarkably non-pineappled Caddy... These must be nearing extinction now... Millennium spec boy racer... And the pick of the bunch. I was VERY close to knocking on the door to enquire about this bad boy. I've never been a big Ford fan but I dig these old tanks (and Mk4s). It's still showing a few months rent in the window but flat tyres all round suggests it may be borked in some way.... It's so awesome it deserves two pictures... catsinthewelder Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 This is the last shot my old camera took before it died An Alvis, the owners walked up behind me while I was papping it and stopped for a natter. My new camera turned up today so I could pap this Dutch plated Rebel and fucking dreadful camper I saw a Regal saloon on the way out of the carpark so I'll assume there was summut on locally. Ratdat Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I spotted this old girl parked up at the end of an extremely secluded local street this morning when out with my chick. Proper late 80s look! Blimey, that's a rare sight! Plenty of locks on the gate I see, so they must have some idea how nick-able it is.

Jim Bergerac Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 After spending my morning browsing some ace cars in the grounds of a castle, I got home, went for a run and came crashing back to earth with a bump: I still can't believe that this was factory, I could probably make better myself with an angle grinder and a silvercross pram. And I'm in an incompetent oaf. This no doubt belongs to some dodgy character (AMG wheels, spoiler, it's an old S-Klasse). Also a clear case of plate worth more than the car: stuboy, HillmanImp, brickwall and 1 other 4
fordperv Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 there was no sign of gaffa tape on this honey of a mondeo mirage, giffer driven still with dealer plates and window sticker HMC and stuboy 2
