Somewhere in Somerset at the side of the road I found this frilly YotaIMG_20210423_103045_hdr.thumb.jpg.117c2cabf838477e4900ab17998a63be.jpg

I'm amazed that's still there!  It's been there for YEARS.  I used to pass it regularly when I worked in Bristol back in about 2005, it didn't look much better then but was in use as it did occasionally move.  Someone made an impressive effort many years ago to keep it going with a big tub of filler by the look of it.

In fact, its last MOT ran out in 2008 and the previous year it had an advisory for

The Vauxhall Vectra next to it has not moved in a long time either

MUHAHAHAHA! Fear not though, am heavily into Launderette shite as it's my trade and I know a lot of others in the biz, including the owners of Staffords.

On my way back from up north I spotted this Avantime in the slow/stationery outside lane because M25, in front was a White C reg Citroen CX estate and behind was a silver Talbot Matra which sounded glorious IMG_20210425_163320_hdr.thumb.jpg.2e66e0c39c2244a86d94e1ff5f2dce87.jpg

Couple of treats from my delivery last week.

I walk through this underground car park every day but usually there are no lights and another car parked in the way so I'd never paid this any attention.

IMG_20210424_091816.thumb.jpg.9a8fe8bd92ecaa423110bf82e1620846.jpg

But this week the lights have been on so I noticed it. What I actually noticed was this.

IMG_20210424_091801.thumb.jpg.4822f579477bf1c1f4068ff51034dd72.jpg

It looks big under the tarpaulin but that could be an optical illusion. It looks 7 series sized but it might only be a 5 series - a proper one though.

Somebody here will be able to tell from the hub cap.

Then this gem arrived and never moved for three days.

IMG_20210422_103626.thumb.jpg.016385e75eb159aa078eb1ce9dae06bd.jpg

IOW registered with dealer plates, dealer sticker in the rear window and original trimz.

But this is the highlight. This house is owned by an old couple with a Sherpa camper in their garage that I've never seen move. They normally have a Yaris Verso on the drive but one day last week I arrived to find this.

That's some upgrade from a Verso (which may be a classic in its own right).

Ah, Verso still there then. Must just be visiting. Still, can't get much cooler than this.

🤔 Not sure, but now you mentioned it I'll have to try and find it! There is a cider shop just up the road mind 😊

Through village, left Flatts Lane, onto King Lane, in a farm on the right, Broad Oak perry, 7.5% of teeth rotting loveliness and cheap from the bottling place 👍

That's exactly where the cider shop is, Somerset cider solutions. I will look out for the perry place next time I pop up there. Cheers.

I parked the van like that in a (very quiet) corner of our local Tesco car park once.  Came back to get absolutely ranted at by someone in an Audi A1 about how I was being utterly selfish and inconsiderate and how I was everything that was wrong with society.

The fact that the van is pretty much the exact width a single space (not allowing for things like opening doors!) and about 1 and a half spaces long seemed completely lost on her.

I think that could be an E9, here’s a pic of my old one for comparison
