I know I am not exactly a lazy spotter, spending £££s going abroad and taking car photos but I have really let off the gas with UK spots, so this was a very welcome spot.

And it's one owner.

This morning's Romanian-plated right-hand-drive special:

....shows up on DVLA's database as some sort of hybrid BMW - probably a 330e

I've somehow traveled back in time to about 2002 with this Mondeo and who said there isn't money in lorrying? There is, if you're in cattle or scrap metal like this big bastard

And a shot of the Sigma from the front just so you might recognise one should you ever see one coming towards you ! If you do , chase him down and pull him over and get his details and pass them onto me .... yeah as if that's ever gonna happen !!!

An early 306 yesterday. Pity the reg is 308 and not 306. I still think the 06-generation Peugeots are very handsome cars - where did it all go so wrong?

Yet another ZX spotted earlier today in Buckingham.

These must have quite a good survival rate compared to most motors of the same period given how often they still pop up.

Currently in Croatia. 90s chod is everywhere. So much so I've stopped noticing them. Anything older is pretty thin on the ground. I've only seen three Yugos and not been able to photo any of them. I imagine almost every car would have been one thirty years ago. Anyway here's a few pics to be getting on with. These are off the phone, there's more on the proper camera to be uploaded when I get home.

These are all in Zagreb.

This seems to be the most common car in Croatia, including one in mega base spec black bumper mode.

This one's so big it wouldn't fit in the picture.

Nicely Barried. Wheels worth more than the car? Been there, done that. Still doing it in fact.

More to follow from Senj on the coast, where I sit typing this and can thoroughly recommend.

Now I'm sitting outside this bar and I see this unmistakable shape come round the roundabout at the top of the road and get my camera ready. The bloody thing stops half way down the road. So this is extreme zoom and then cropped further still. But there's no mistaking what it is.

post-20743-0-32720200-1539197749_thumb.jpg

Even more annoyingly, I went to the loo and Lorraine said it drove past, turned round at the end of the road and came back the other way.

Newport Pagnell today.

So that's what that is!

Sure I've seen that car before - but a glimpse out of the corner of my eye going the opposite way around roundabouts, briefly enough and peripherally enough that I couldn't actually identify it.

Must be one of a pretty small number of saloons which feature a rear window wiper...

That should meet with some DW approval

Today's spot is a Musso. Hadn't seen one for yonks and they still look weird. Not Rodius weird but odd nevertheless.

In case you're wondering, the white car in the background is a BMW 2002 that appears to live there. Here it is back in the summer when it was facing the other way.

What the heck did they do to the nose when they facelifted it?!? The original Musso was quite a handsome looking beast I thought...but that's just uuuugly...

BMW would look a hundred times better with the bumpers still fitted.

Alvis TD21? Summit like that; not over restored. Funny bloke in a Saab 9000 parked behind.
