Dinky did a lovely job of the BGT, I coveted it when it first came out, definitely a cut above a Corgi Classic of the time.

I've seen that series in One Beyond but yet to find that Golf!

Come to think of it it was in One Beyond and not the Poundshop in my defence they are nextdoor to each other.

Today's finds the Ford Model A almost looks like a premium with new wheels and the livery. Hopefully I will see this in the flesh racing on Bridlington beach at Race The Waves in June.

Got this in a charity shop for a quid. I've only seen these coming out of a mystery models bag on this forum.

I have a soft spot for these as my Late Uncle had a camper version when I was knee high to a grasshopper.

Today, I went to Evesham to meet an former (now-retired) work colleague for a few games of pool. I took the old "Pub landlord" Jag:

We were joined by another colleague and his son. When it was their turn to have a couple of games I popped across the road to this place:

It sells all sorts. On the ground floor you have a lot of new gifts, model cars etc... on the first floor, you have antiques/treasures and second-hand trinkets.

I did some small comparisons and decided to clean and put the blue in with my new red MGB GT V8:

There's a very depressing amount of HFM going on in that shop!  Nice find on the BV8 though, that's one I might have bought had I been there.

Hey @eddyramrod  compare the price of the Montana spray in hobbycraft to Halfords £ for £.

My BIL swears by it, it’s even cheaper online (but harder to sneak in!) A current project of his, because I’ve nothing to hand!

Thanks; probably a good call if there was a Hobbycraft within 50 miles of me.

It's all fine for you in the bustling metrollops.  Where I am we've only got Boots and Halfords by the skin of our teeth, and it's a good hour drive to anywhere else that might, with no guarantees when you get there.  Hell I don't even know where the nearest Lidl is (but we do have two Aldis in Barrow and one in Ulverston, so I suppose that's something)!  Hobbycraft goes on the same shelf of dreams as boot sales.

Actually I do know where to find a Hobbycraft.  It's in Chester, a mere 130 miles to the south.

Hobbycraft are fully online and postage is less than the the fuel would be if one were 5 miles from you.

Apparently…

…there’s a mega rare variation of the Metropolis Police Juniors version that has a weird green roof light. Seemingly very scarce and worth a bit if you find one. Although now they’re as old as they are the roof light is often the first bit to get broken off so there’s probably some out there but you’d never know now.

Seems a bit oddly proportioned in places.  Why am I complaining, bought it for 75 pence.

However, as I held it in my hands, it occurred to me that, surprisingly, not many manufacturers modelled the Z1 down in the budget toy zone

Should* be a common find, but isn’t, despite being released as part of the Shell Classic Collection fleet that seem to have survived everywhere in bulk and boxed

Pretty poor show again around the local haunts, Stock seems to have stalled after the uncharacteristic flood of new stock from a couple of months ago. Local B&M have got another premium range in stock to go with all the unsold World Tour ones they have. Which is flipping Terra Trek! Which judging by all the unsold ones in Entertainer, Tescotainer and Smyth's, must be the most unpopular premium range since Jay Leno's Garage and all of the 1472 Fast and Furious ranges.

Went to Poundland, nothing special on the Hot Wheels front, and a few newish Matchboxes, of course with all the Fiestas, Merc and BMW wagons gone.

I did pick this up as I think it's the only RS2 I havent found yet. Nice, almost brown, colour scheme. And one of those factory fresh castings that thankfully gets normal sized wheels and no shite along the flanks which allows for better front and rear detailing.
