The wife picked up some of the latest offerings in BuM, this Lexus ‘speshal edishon’ looks like exactly the sort of grey import you’d have found in the 90’s with garish mods.

Mail call this morning.

I'd already received a text from Royal Mail earlier to say touchdown was imminent, so I was in full anticipation mode.

And inside, there's plenty of packaging - always a good sign!

It's that Dinky MGB, rescued from a tat box some years ago and rather wonderfully brought back to life by @egg.

It's certainly looking rather better than when I last clapped eyes on it, two years back!

I'd been thinking about ways to put a red interior back, but y'know, now I see it in the metal I think that might spoil it by being overly garish - it's just lovely as it is.

The crisp lines are nicely shown off by the off-white paint, and the driver adds just enough colour to prevent it looking monochrome.

What a lovely little toy.

So now it can go and play with its mates.

Many thanks to @egg for, well, being an extremely good egg and offering this one back to me on very generous terms, given the time and effort expended on making it look like this once again!

Generally, an MG B in full size or miniature does not appeal to me.  However, that Dinky is a beauty.  Very nicely done and an excellent acquisition. @egg @Datsuncog

Found myself back in Hemsby this afternoon, my favourite arcade had a few machines with Hot Wheels in 

Didn't win anything but still had a load of points saved from last time, and they had an unopened box of Majorette Tune ups (1st series) they let me go through. Grabbed BK14 (Dodge Charger)

and wanted BK18 (Golf), but there wasn't one in there - however there was one with no markings at all

so what's inside?

It's alright but too modern for me. I haven't opened the perforated parts to get the add-ons out, anyone want this one for £cheap?

Is the MC Toys Sierra anything at all to do with the Matchbox Sierra? It looks so similar, just not quite as heavy.

@155V6 some good finds there, Color Changer Porsche is usually tatty as the paint chips very easily.

Hot Pants Crapi is also in great shape, Matchbox pickup is a pretty unusual one and I've also never seen the Astra in that colour!

I take it the Evel car is from Ideal?
