trigger
One of the worse ebay ad ever? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MY-DADS-MK2-FORD- ... 3a56019e5a No picture, selling his dad's 1964 Mk 2 Cortina 1.4?!
brammy777
My god that Allegro is so so so so tempting, jeez why do they always pop up when I have no money? If its still there when i do (which i doubt) ill be all over it.That cortina advert is hilarious, the MK2 wasnt even introduced until 1966, which makes it seem even more dubious. UglyAmerican
Fancy a Rover SD1 in the US? This feller will make that happen. Price is abusive (Buy it now for $2250), I would say that even over here this car is only worth $1000 tops. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1980-Rov ... 4cec9f97e0
Mr Lobster
I am unendingly astonished at the total shitness of these Renner 4 Rodeo things, imagine if you were some sort of program manager or something on these in the 70's and it was your 'baby', fuggin hell you would get laughed outta town at the interview for your next job. http://www.leboncoin.fr/vi/83736776.htm?ca=12_s This one is for sale as a project, at an inexplicable 950 eurocoins.Citroen Mehari was better. Still, I'd have one. Not that one at 950 euro pounds though!

Mash
That Mk3 is up at over £1,500 already. Is it just me that thinks that's a tad too much for something that's just been dragged out of a barn like that? Some rose-tinted bidding going on there methinks. Better bosh a bid on a mig too lads! Better bosh a bid on a mig too lads!Yeah, but aren't the coupe Mk 3 Cortinas MEGA desirable \ rare etc. And it's an old Ford, and they seem to be worth some money, even if they rot like bastards and the Pinto engine is the most hideous wheezy pile of shit known to man. Lankytim
I have no desire to own that Cortina, but WOW. I want to clean it! I want to give the dirty bitch a damn good scrub, the filty tramp. Imagine how satisfying it would be to uncover the original paint underneath all that crud.. Its begging for it, the slut. Im off for a cold shower. Ratdat
We can only look on something like that Mk3 with open market value in mind. The diehard Cortina enthusiast will no doubt see it very differently. As with any marque, if you're into it and desperately want it... market value is not an issue. Look at your B10 Mash, I paid a massive amount of money for that back when I bought it from AF Tann, at a time when Datsun in general were worth bugger all. It's history means nothing to anyone who isn't into Datsuns. To be fair to the ol' 'tina, yes they do rot like buggery but whilst the Pinto is a heft lump of iron, it does actually go quite well. I was well surprised how lively my Mk5 is.

pogweasel
That Zodiac is class. I would like to buy one and drive about wearing dark glasses and a sports jacket, pretending I was in some early 70's american made-for-tv film. Perhaps I would do the driving in some unnecessarily hilly town to give the illusion that I am roaming the streets of San Fran.

I can't believe its currently sat at £1500 with 8 days to go. Only a couple of years ago even a mint GXL struggled to reach a grand, let alone a beige facelift needing a lot of work.
