Ye Gads! My eyes!

Not the worst home brewed campa-disasta I've seen though.

I like to pretend it's an ex-mobile library that's gone a funny shape because there's too many books inside.

The front looks like a massive Metro. I wonder if it's invisible to radar?

That is frighteningly (is that a word?) bad. In fact so bad it's good. Is it based on a Ambastardor then?

What the Donald Duck...? That's professional-quality ugly. Please tell me it hasn't survived...

Looking at the numberplates and Poundland wheeltrims, then highly likely!

Built 1982

It has to be said though, I could not build anything like that. Not due to lack of ability just out of common decency.

You know, it's not that bad - the only really hideous bit is the grille area and some of the detailing on the sides.

A set of moon disc wheel trims, or some similarly smooth retro-futuristic covers/wheels and a better grille would see this look eleventybillion times better. Overall, I quite like the shape, the purpose over design ethos of the build. It's great. It also reminds me a bit of a Hustler.

O/T but you just reminded me of this.

This is actually what happens when your wife and her mates have a night in. FACT

Here's a quick "16% battery life" shop of it with a more conventional front end:

If he hadn't put those rubbing strips on the front wings, it would look a lot better..................

For me the funniest thing in the original photos is the way he has it taped off, to keep the sweaty palms of the feverish crowds away from it.....

I reckon it looks quite good with a Mondeo front.

Compared to what?

Hang on, that's a different one! Quick, kill one before they breed.

(Actually, I quite like the original.)

What!!!!! These are mind-bogglingly shit!!!! especially one powered by an Ambassador engine. They are grim enough when they only have an Ambassador to drag round never mind a flipping conservatory
