I don’t have my own thread. I don’t think I’m that interesting.

Think that's the one!

One by Mark Hughes.

Kinda kicking myself here. As the linked one is the cheapest one on eBay.

The rest are daft money!

In that case, I'm even less interesting. But even I have my own thread. More over just to keep a tabs on what I own, where it is and what I need to do with it (if ever)

1961 Reliant Regal MKVI, 748cc sidevalve, thermo-syphon cooling, no heater, 17bhp, 4 speed and reverse, no synchro on 1st. Cruises happily at 40-55mph. Originally from Birkenhead, Liverpool, original registration LCM66. A father and son were the 1st and 2nd owners. The son reluctantly sold the registration in the 1980s to a friend with an Audi Quattro but the Reliant was by then very tired and well used. Current reg. is a 1963 series, as was the DVLA policy at the time.

I'm its 5th owner. I've owned it since 1992, bought when it had been off the road for nearly a decade, but it needed extensive renovation on the interior, engine and bodywork. The chassis was fine.  For this reason (and family priorities), the car did not return to the road until 2005.  It has been roadworthy for the majority of the time since although I've only done around 4k miles in it.  The car had however done 99. 999k before my mileage.  There is no separate thread.

That Rover is beautiful. When I was a YTS apprentice, my boss had a blue P6 V8. Highlight of the week was him giving me cash to go and fill it up for the weekend.

My average fleet age does seem to be creeping higher year on year.  Used to mostly be 80s stuff I was interested in, but we've now got 60s, 70s and 80s (well...a 60s design being produced in the 80s) covered along with a "modern" that's getting alarmingly close to 20 years old.

In ascending order of age.

2007 Volvo V70 D5 SE.

Part dog carrying load lugger, part limo, part rocket ship.  The only fly in the ointment is it not being ULEZ friendly otherwise why would I ever consider changing it?  It just feels to me that this is the era where we reached peak car.  Aside from the entertainment system not having integrated navigation, it does everything just as well as anything 20 years newer I've driven.

I wouldn't mind the wheels being an inch smaller and some extra tyre sidewall either, but beggars can't be choosers.

Nothing currently representing the 90s.

1984 Trabant 601S.

Picked up out of curiosity as a swap off here thinking I'd have six months or so of fun then move it on.  Two and a half years ago.  Has had probably four times it's value spent on it so far, but can't honestly see me moving it on any time soon.  Just puts too big a smile on my face every time I drive it.  It's noisy, it's cramped, it's bouncy, and I love the silly little thing.

It's my go-to for most local trips unless it's raining because the windscreen currently leaks!  Does a far better job of just being An Car than the urban myths would have you believe.

1973 AC Model 70.

Anyone who remembers @dollywobbler reviving TWC back before most people had been reminded that these cars had existed will remember the sad looking car he used for parts - which is this one which ended up with me.  I made one good (if slightly scruffy) car out of the shell and chassis of one and mechanicals out of another.

I really do need to get her out more this year.  She's become a little buried in the garage.

1962 Rover P4 110.

A relatively recent addition, but one I'm looking forward to getting some miles on this year.  I had a pretty rough example a couple of years ago but was very impressed by the engineering of these cars.  So when this solid looking example popped up I jumped at it.  It needs some work done mechanically, but we're starting to get there.

Even just sitting on the drive though it's pretty!

Oh, and there's a Sinclair C5 in the shed as well, though I don't classify that as a car.

It's actually nice to see other people's car in one thread. As I'd like to know what other threads I can go have a look at.

Not really sure if I have anything termed as a "Classic" per se.

I'll chuck the Българският автомобил in.

What is the truck? Pinzgauer? (I should have suggested Laplander......I'd have a better chance of spelling it!)
