Some of these contraptions are a clear demonstration of why the MOT is necessary. I'm guessing they're in states that have no roadworthiness tests whatsoever.

Behold the NJT amphibious camper. I think it's based on a Citroen C25 but looks like a cross between a Land Rover and a canal barge.

The jury is still out deliberating on it in this house (I do not like it, the wife loves it) but I do like the decent engine access afforded by the Land Rover tub.
There's a hell of a lot work in that tho'
