Ebay Tat Volume 2 - Sadly deceased.

:shock::shock: That 99 had made me make a right old mess of my trousers. Unfortunately I've checked the shite fund and I'm about two grand short of the asking price at the moment. I've never driven a 99 with a freewheel before (the earliest 99 I've owned was a J-plater with the 1854cc engine) but wouldn't imagine it would be too bad as 99s had disc brakes from the start. I would imagine something like a Rover P4 with a freewheel would be much scarier.

That R21 is lovely, although it's been on Ebay several times now, and 'sold' each time. So I guess some 'ghost bidding' has been occuring.

Those Aerodecks are fine cars and the auto 'box is as smooth as anything. That's a good price too.One of 'em posted on last year's tat thread made 800 clams that was an auto aswell

I reckon that Passat on R-R is a great buy. Put some new springs in, delete the dismal half-arsed scene stickers, re-spray the bits below the trim strips etc and it will be a seriously smart motor.Maybe change the engine to a 20V audi effort if you are a spanner dweeb as well.

lol I just spotted the TypeR badge on the jazz. Brilliant.

That Passat really shouldnt be appealing to me, but it is. Am developing a sudden urge for something square, i.e Bluebird, Passat, Audi 80, etc. GR9 for being family man/sales rep circa 1988

That Passat was only posted on here a few weeks back before it was 'scened up', I remember Bo1 i think saying that it would be covered in 76 stickers... Anyway

A VW van engine that predates it's own use in the VW van and only really shares the block anyway ;)But you're right, almost everything will have a part number that VAG recognise and can order (or even stock), so they're not expensive to run. Similarly, I used to get my Audi parts from VW, where they were cheaper (example: Interior door release pull - Audi dealer £13.40, VW dealer with same part number £6).
