You can sling them into corners surprisingly quickly too, as long as you can hold onto the steering.

Youve just put a brilliant image into my head of the van on 2 wheels and some poor bugger falling out the open passenger door.

Ah! This almost happened to my sister on a roundabout in my Fiat 126! She offered to squirt some de-icer on the windscreen, rolled down the window and sprayed the windscreen, but unknown to us both, the window cable system had been put together poorly and once the window got to a certain level, the lock came undone.:shock::shock:

TOP WORK GANG!

here's the sequence of events as may now happen.

1) the listings get pulled

2) the cars get squished by the 'bailiffs' and sold as scrap

3) everyone loses.

4) the end

If you have a problem you need fucking up further, and if you an find them, maybe you can call the Autoshite TEAM...

No offence but I think that's an unnecessarily harsh over-reaction there Pog. Personally, I would be more than happy to see my fellow forumites help me out rather than sit back and start splashing popcorn smileys about whilst they watch someone's belongings get peddled in public by some vindictive pikey. At least the seller now knows they are not getting it easy and it would now be incredibly stupid for them to do any more damage to the cars than they already have.

You simply can't give shits like this a free ride. Life is full enough of Jehovah's Bystanders who look on while people get hurt and I isn't one of them!

That's my opinion anyway.

The issue is not about helping. Helping is good. But like I said, if you have someone who, it appears operates outside the legal parameters, then winding them up by accusing them of selling stolen goods is not the way to go about it. All of the auctions have now been pulled by the seller (not cancelled by eBay). So either (a) the situation has been resolved or (B) the sitaution has escalated, we shall wait and see. Personally, I suspect that is the last we will see of these old cars. Though I also doubt that many would ever have seen action again anyway.

The seller knows his onions so the car must be 100%

"the plate is a secret to stop cons from copeing it"

I'm sure there are many cons out there waiting to cope a landcrab reg.

Dear christ what a eye-popping spaz cart of a thing.

Looks better in real life than it does in the pictures

Yes well, it does look pretty hideous in the pictures thats for sure.

I would rather get an unpaid nightshift job doing naked body popping outside a fuggin Calais truck stop than be seen travelling about in this diabolical heap of shite.

It's worth it for the Q&A session.

That Mini is truly hideous , id rather slide down a 50ft razor blade using my bollocks as brakes than trundle about in that thingI guess we wont be bidding then Mr Bo11ocks

Regardless of the silly advertising, what would you expect it to be bid to, Fred?I'll wager it will go for £2,500 in the end.

I kissed a girl and I liked it, the taste of her cherry chapstick

That Cherry could be just what I'm looking for with that mileage as I know of someone wanting a good shell for a turbo project.

I'd agree. Easy £2.5k that, doesn't look a particularly bad car tbh. Remove the white stripe, spend a bit of money tidying it up and you've got a decent enough car there.

I HAVE ONLY JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR AND I AM BEING TRUTHFULL IN SAYING THIS, IT WAS FOR MY WIFES, 40th birthday.

I BOUGHT THIS CAR WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE THEN TOOK HER TO HAVE A LOOK AT IT AFTER IT HAD BEEN DELIVED TO THE GARAGE THAT DOES ALL MY ALTERATIONS TO MY CARS THAT I BUY.

ONLY TO BE TOLD OFF LIKE A LITTLE KID THAT THIS WAS NOT THE CAR SHE,D ASK FOR ( OR HINTED AT ) AND TO SELL IT AND GET HER THE ONE SHE,D ASKED FOR OR HINTED AT.

SHE POINTED OUT THAT I HAD BOUGHT THE CAR FOR MYSELF AND NOT FOR HER TO GET RID AND BUY WHAT SHED HINTED AT.

There's a 1600 for sale for £150 on Ovalchat at the moment.
