I'm sure there's someone on here that can make your dreams come true.

(Well, that one anyway, the one about Cheryl Cole, some sound deadening and an axe may be harder to realise)

I've already owned one rape van in the last 12 months, the heat hasn't died down enough to get another

It's not rape, it's surprise sex.

Now, if this had been done properly, it would be GR9...

But it hasn't; it's another one of those annoying instances where a couple of weekends of fettling would havebeen a good idea before putting it up for sale, rather than lashing it up in a "Thattadooo" attitude...

..and suggest if I had the money I'd be all over it like an all overy thing. Wheels HAVE to go though, they look bloody horrible.

Inspired by TagoraSX's new acquisition, I went looking across the continent...there were some coupes, but this has to be the cheapest transport EVAH.

Alright, you would need to make a small investment in this (700 Euros plus whatever it costs to bring it over from the arse end of Italy, and looks like it needs a new wing and maybe a bumper, too), but you'd be compensated by the mighty roar of 903cc, and it's LPG !!!11! so you can live the dream without worrying about fuel costs!

Renault 15 for only £400!, Needs restoring mind, one for Mr. Bickle?.

I might go for this one actually, if nobody minds,,although the cost of getting it home is more than the price of it

Bugger,,bugger ,,bugger

Got called in to a meeting at work,,,went on all day,,got home to find that my Laptop crashed, couldnt buy the 15 and by the time i Get into wrk next morning its gone---I'm gutted :cry::cry::cry::cry:

The ironic thing is that a New Laptop will cost as much as the car!!

I actually dont hate it, but would be better in a different colour.

WTF

Car or house? Car or house? I'm sure somebody has had this conundrum at somepoint in their lives. There is a way though.

I just came on to post that Allegro Estate myself.

I'd be BINing it right up if I hadn't just taken on the BX. Meh- there'll be another. I just hope prices don't skyrocket in the next year.

I like these, but fear they may be too small for a fat twunt like me

I'm trying to persuade my wife that this little honey is exactly what she needs. She doesn't drive but if we move house (planned, sort of) she'll need basic transport: this seems like the ideal place to start, no?

Wish me luck.

The "stick a redtop in it" ethos is the only reason I so far haven't joined the MK2CAV owner's club, despit being a forum member for donkey's years.

"Stick an Isuzu 1.7 TD in it."

I have thought of sticking an Isuzu 1.5D in it, what with the tax being cheaper!

Edit:I meant 1.5TD - the 1.5D would just be too slow.

I've not been on in ages but is used to be really good. There was always the odd spac who wanted to fit a Calibre kit to their shit heap but quite a few are sensible people who liked standard cars over 'modified' shit.

Tbh I don't mind the odd XE conversion but to do it to something like that CDi is just fucking stupid. I'd happily own and drive an XE converted Nova or possibly Corsa if it'd been done right.

I don't mind engine conversions at all, and quite like it when it's "kept in the family" as such.

I just get severely hacked off with dribbling mongs who believe a "Redtop" (nnnggg) is the be-all and end-all of engines and therefore must be thrust into everything that GM ever built.
