That S110L is class in a glass, if it was a genuine UK car then it would be my winner of the week.

Hurry up! For life in the slow lane: Umwelt 7000mpg dizzle

I would be interested meself, but I've got two cars falling to bits as it is, and I really don't need one with a wavy cyl head.

On the other hand...

A T-5 could float my boat. Only 208,000mls; it's only just run in, isn't it? 1 years MOT, but I reckon I could wreck it quicker than that.

Vauxhall Senator 24v. Apparently has a 29,969cc engine - that can't be very economical.

MOT til September, 100k miles which is nowt for one of these. :)

That's rather salty. Nice car though, a later 1.9TD would drop straight in but I think they're all snaffled by T25 nerds.

The 65bhp 1Y 1.9D engine would be quite adequate too, it's fine in my Mk3 Golf.

GR8 4 MIDGETS.

Wasn't there one of these at Stonden?.

IT HAS A FULL BRITISH MOT TEST

That's a strange one as the car hasn't been UK registered yet, I didn't know that you can mot a car without a number plate.

Posted

Yup, you can MOT it on the chassis number, or the original number plates from the country it came from if it's an import.

Yep, can be MOT'd on the VIN number.

Soz, it needs to be a three door for-the-avatar-match-win.

Imported Twin Turbo. This is my soon to be ex husband's car and he wants me to sell it for him. Well. lets be honest here! This car is 18 years old and, er, shows it. It drives fine in straight lines, but has an alarming propensity to skip/shimmy sideways on uneven bits of road. As for putting it fast into a corner - by all means, if you like your face making intimate contact with large trees/walls/other cars. I think it may be possessed and is trying to kill me so the ex gets my life insurance :) The engine. well, on the positive side, it starts and it doesn't smoke. However is has a demonic thirst for oil (and enjoys leaking it all over the place) and at certain revs it makes a strangled rattling noise. The mileometer works on a purely random basis or when the moon is full. The doors wont lock, however on the plus side the stereo is so completely rubbish that no one would want to break into it anyway and any joy riders would be quickly found as they'd be upside down in a ditch at the bottom of the road. In short, here is an old car with a massive engine that is single handedly responsible for the rise in oil prices as it is using the global stock of petrol and oil and may explode at any moment, thinks that coming out of the other side of a corner is purely optional, but is still great fun to drive and will make you look like a 1980's "adult film" star. PS Unbelievably, it is both MOT'd (June) and taxed (July). £995 ONO

Tempting me this week, and getting me in all sorts of trouble with the missus are:

Wobbler, get on that 205, that would be pretty much perfect for WELSH conditions. Tell you wife it's like a mini, small whizzy fun, but also moar practical. Just don't blame me when end up upside down in a ditch (again)

VERY clever advert, as in written by the dude. That sort chatter isn't from a woman. He's drawing in "porn star" wannabes with the implied hook-up with his ex who is ostensibly selling the car for him. Balderdash. You arrive with 10 tons in yer pocket for the Z, and out the door comes some oaf with a ballcap and whiskers.... bait 'n switch!

I think the pornographer comment refers to top gear.

This is one of the great cars of all time, contemporary road testers found it was comfier, better handling and faster than the equivalent 5-series BMW. Buy it.

It's a shame that no one wanted to save this one, it was cheaper, only done 75000 miles and was really spotless and original.

Sadly a few days later the garage scrapped it as it was closing down. :(
