Any midget truckers on here?

I picked up an Imp gearbox last year from a bloke in Barnsley who builds minature trucks. He had a really crampt workshop where he was building 2 of them bit by bit.

He was REALLY into these little trucks. He talked to me for quite some time about showing me how he was building it whilst i pretended to understand what he was talking about and nodding in agreement.

I have a recording of the conversation here.

Nice chap, but it was all a bit technical and over my head.

so, it has fairey overdrive and a rebuilt V8 - and he'll take £500 for it - sounds like a bargain to me!

'Arches need welding due to snow. ' 'Worth £500 in parts all day long*'.

'YOU CANT BY A DECENT SET OF WHEELS FOR THE RESERVE ON THIS CAR GRAB URSELF A BARGAIN QUICK!'

Actually you turnip I could 'by' some fucking lovely wheels for a fair bit less than your asking price, never mind whatever heroin induced reserve you've placed on this heap of shit.

*This car wouldn't be worth £500 if scrap metal rose to £33,000 per ounce.

Mega-bargainous newer shape V6 Camry - be (very) quick. Engines out of these sell for mega money for MR2 conversions. If it weren't so far away I'd be seriously tempted.

That IS cheap. Crap listing in the wrong section can't be helping.

Re the late Escorts, they're worth nowt these days. I was watching this one for my sister:

It was at £350 no reserve, and no bids 'til the last minute. (Finished at 361 with 2 bids.)

It has a fresh test and less than 50,000 miles FFS!

She said it would be too much to insure, so we're still looking.

So he's driven 250 miles on them and they're already curbed and missing centre caps

Obv he must buy this one without delay.

Bit of a late reply, but guilty as charged  although i've gone from 3 of em down to 2 now as one was broken up for spares. I must admit that one doesn't look that bad if you take the front bumper out of the equation. I like the colour too which is quite rare for one of them. But sadly not for me, a little closer and I might have been tempted.

This is catching my eye at the moment though as I have all the bits to fix it, Would need to be cheaper though to cover travel expenses. I could tale parts with me and fix at side of road.. Ohh i'm very tempted..
