Wow, that's pretty cool for 900eurobobs. I would like to buy it and spend all day driving it up and down the road past Seth's house tooting the horn and waving.

OMG MY HEADLIGHTS ARE ON FIRE!!http://www.leboncoin.fr/vi/99091642.htm?ca=12_sruns + drives, £900

Wow, that is just soulcrushingly bad to see as a Peugeot fan :(
soul crushing? why? it's not that awful. Just lob some standard wheels on, satin black over the flames and you've got a nice daily..... and at £900 it must be the cheapest possible way into 404 ownership.

I'm a bit precious when it comes to old Pugs :) Paint flames on a Jag D-type and put non-standard wheels on and I probably wouldn't blink an eye ;)

You need to get yourself over to R-R for a few weeks to be fully educated in these matters!

thats a pretty nice van and not overly priced considering the work that must have been involved.but those tyres look awfull stretched to the max like that i really cant see the fasination in that look, to me it says well i needed tyres but couldnt aford the right size so these will just have to do:lol:

HA, glad it's not just me that gets that thought when I see that "look"

what about this then? Slightly barry, but a 2.5 V6 ST200 engine is an unusual trasplant into an escort (Van). Super cool I reckon

Wtf's with the whole stretched tyres thing? I think some cars can benefit from wider rims to make the tyres look less baggy.... but this? Just makes no sense to me.
While I am quite indifferent to stretched tyres I think they do suit some modified cars. The stretched tyres on this van could be so the tyre tread falls under the arches, with regards to the MOT? Ok, unlikely but, it's possible. Escort Cosworth wheels are nice though..

This looks tidy, no engine though! GR8 for RS2000 16v engine installation

Back when these were made, someone fitted a Dolomite Sprint engine and box. It's lighter than a Pinto, gives more gears and if you're lucky it might break down even more. All the best people have a red Ginetta G26 which looks knackered :D
Q-plate and SERCKS, quite a combination.

Wow that is ace. Get your posse to travel around in it with you wearing shades, and conspicuously 'check out' any shops for you before giving you the OK by walkie talkie, so that you can get out and buy a copy of PC and a can of pop.Alternatively you could join the local L-R club with it and make comments about their steeds like 'Nice checker plate..... how thick is it exactly?' Dont expect em to tug you out when you sink up to the headlining in the first muddy puddle you find mind you.

Seeing that Marina Bollox posted a couple of pages back reminded me of this:

The BL interior colour co-ordinator must have just been coming up to retirement when the 75 was launched - that's at least three, possibly four different shades of green in there.

I quite like this one though, for £1200 provided the 90-hour cambelt change has been done this seems like a perfectly acceptable way to travel.

Me too, and that other favourite, hitting with The Stick. To me lowered is either "the suspension's fooked" or "overloaded".......

There's only one way to

I will always think of Basil now, whenever hitting-with-the-stick is mentioned now!
