'Witch needs attention'.

It's not a witch he needs, it's a f*ck*ng wizard with a magic wands that turns clapped out weighbridge material into something MOT-able.

Aren't these MoT-exempt, Billy?

HB, or not HB, that is the question:

Whether 'tis wob in the arches to suffer

The isopon and chicken wire of outrageous fortune,

Or to take welder against a sea of rust,

And by opposing Granadas at Mildo To die, we trust,

No more; and by a Hiab to say we end

The heart-ache, and the worn out shocks

That flesh is heir to: being rammed by illiterate cocks.

Very good. What the Bard would have written if he'd grown up on a northern council estate in the 1970s.

It's his Irish grandmother.

Fook me, a Quintet - that's two to come up on the "scene" this year. He's wrong with saying 89 left however - it's more like 3 because the others are some sort of Civic variant c.2004.

And a Beta saloon too?! Qualz!

That whiter than white Cortina has been for sale for absolutely ages, you get the feeling the owner doesn't actually want to sell it, hence the ridiculous price it's currently at.

'Sports saloon'

Nice though and potential bankruptcy within four weeks.

EFA  But if you're going to have a project it might as well be worthwhile. Me, I'd be all over that ex-PC Alpine. I don't even remember the series, but they are a lovely thing.

It has made my watch list.

Starting to creep up in price now I notice. Where do you see that ending up Pete, I'm guessing about £2,000 or so?

Not sure. If it's £2k it's not expensive if the thing is solid. The work that has been done to it isn't cheap or particularly easy to do, if the carpets are the least good bit of the interior and the engine / box / rear suspension / brakes / axle are ok then that's a lot of car for £2k.

From what I can see of the interior, that would clean up rather nicely.

It'd swallow £2k in nanoseconds if it's not right.

If you bought that Triggs, you know who would be dribbling!

Shame I have no cash at the moment, DAMMIT!

That Sceptre's not got a Holbay head, just the rocker cover.
