No its a Bentley

I always thought it looked a bit Bentley like. Ironically, it holds its value better than the E class too, even though Chrysler pulled out of the UK market some years ago.

Talking of Bentley, of course, most of the parts are shared with the Volkswagen Phaeton (and the engine with the Touareg W12).

We've mentioned the Rover 75? I remember taking mine apart to fit some aftermarket parts and being amazed how much of it was BMW badged.

It uses Mercedes engines and suspension, but the actual base is Chysler's own.

...

Before it got recycled into a Lancia.

Coach with E46 headlights

Actually, this bus model followed part of the BMW 3 series life cycle:

The OG had E36 headlights and Punto taillights

Noge Touring midi Man 57 de J. Conde | Bus Box | Flickr

Then it got the first restyling into the 2000's, that gave it pre-LCI E46 headlights

IVECO NOGE TOURING HDH 380CV bus from Spain for sale at Truck1, ID: 2849426

Then the one in the post, and then they got rid of the BMW headlights for standard off the shelf round headlights

OT, but when did those rabbit ear mirrors first come into use on coaches?

My mind wants to say it was the early '90s when the Setra S3xxHD series came out but i'm not really sure, could have been earlier

Certain Tatra 613s, I think series 4 but obviously the ones from the late 80s/early 90s use air vents, buttons and Ash tray from the Škoda Favorit.

Obviously it has far more buttons.

And the Škoda.

Didn't make much sense without the comparison pic of the Chrysler 300!  Soz - long day...

The BL interior lights were used well into the Rover era, my Mum's 1984 Metro had one with the Plughole logo moulded into it.

The Ford door handles introduced for the Mk3 Cortina were used on quite a few Ford models, & also by Jaguar & TVR long after the last Mk3 Capri was made.

One I've read about, but not 100% if true...is the MG6's boot lamp used AR group lens, complete with the logos.

Anyone able to confirm this?

Vauxhall Senator rear light clusters were used on a Bristol & possibly a TVR.

I’m of the understanding that something in the recent MG lineup was still using the electric mirror switch from the Montego.

primera p12 has renner loonyguna interior lights & on the facelift the rear wiper arm

iirc scooberoos use p12 heated seat switches

i heard mumbling some years ago that the early metrocab used alpine/solara headlights rather than fraud items making them rather like rocking horse poo when fixerating ones cab

The interior light in the Porsche 986 Boxster is from a Peugeot 205/ 106/ Saxo, still with the Citroen logo on it.

This Ford switch. It was and still is in all sorts of vehicles. Fords from 80s-00s. Volvos. JCBs. Jaguars including the new Jag F-Pace.

Hmmm.🤔 Not sure; unless the guts of the switch are shared... 🤓

And even those, I'm fairly sure the guts are still coming from the 1999 Volvo S80

(Edit: this switch is from a 2007, not a 1999.

The 99 is below and still looks remarkably similar)
