One of my parents' cats actually liked chicken curry. If my Mum made any, she would put a dish of it down for him and he would clear it all and moider for more.

Mrs6C is now staying in Wales and not driving back this evening so there is a danger she will join from Wales if her parents don't need her for a while.

I very much enjoy the Tuesdays, but I have noticed attendance has been lacking, and theres no point dragging something on longer then it needs to be dragged on for

so I was thinking its probably time to give it a break especially now the FoD is "open" for the summer  then maybe over the winter or such once everyones refuelled with fresh stories to share it can start up again!

but If there is one next Tuesday then ill gladly show up of course!

sometimes I go off on one about the inner workings of the DVLA or about different types of lightbulbs instead

AFAIK these are the largest "standard" metal halide lamps still with a regular E40 cap made and id love to get one for the collection

im just now sure how trustworthy Alibaba is (nor can I figure out how to specficy which colour I want they come in Blue, Green, and 4200K white which is what I want but I dont know if theres a "include message to seller" when you buy)

I think it’s the ending ( to date) of socialising restrictions. It was good to talk to others face to face when there was no other contact, especially for those like me who live alone.

Now that the clocks have gone back and the dark evenings are upon us, I thought it was time to dust off and fire up the AS Zoom calls.

With the above in mind, I have taken the liberty of scheduling one for every Tuesday evening, from 8pm to 1am, starting on November 1st and running through to early April 2023.

If you'd like to join in, please PM me for details.

These will be general social chats. The AS rules and usual AS Zoom etiquette apply. Be nice. Let other people speak. Don't hog conversations. Talk a bit about your pet subject by all means, but only for a minute or two and don't introduce it at every possible opportunity. Other folk who aren't as interested as you will find it very boring otherwise.

Let's see how it goes.

If anyone would like to have a specific Zoom call covering a particular 'pet subject', then I'm happy to arrange that as a separate online meeting, on another day. That way, if there are topics that some folk find interesting but others don't, those that do can have the opportunity to discuss it together in as much detail as they like.
