Fuck Off!

It's not funny!

At least my ex only shagged one person in Echo and the Bunnymen.

And one of the straight (I hope) members of Frankie Goes To Hollywood!

I would if i was you, I lifted a wagon 3 high last year, so high in fact that i even took his number plate off. He wasn't very happy but it was his fault.

 I'm sure the poor Maritime driver is still paying for the damage!

How did you know!

Lucky guess! They'll finance anyone a two year old Scania/Volvo for brand new list and send them out to work the container ports regardless of experience for £1.15 a mile to make the repayments.

Maritime exist solely to sell used units, not to provide owner drivers with work.

Fucking UPS.

Your inability to read a simple address is fucking unbelieveable. I even put a note on the door saying what bell to ring.

I also saw the van drive past. It can be a bit tricky to park round here sometimes so I think they couldn't be arsed.

So day 3 of sitting around waiting for it. Shitbags. And of course as soon as I try to have a bath they will turn up.

Absolute wankers. Why can't Virgin mobile use Royal mail and then at least I could pick it up from the office?

I liked the last pic of Mrs Claim, can you upload some more, please. Do it in five mins just after I've got a new pack of tissues.

Back to those numberplates, seller can't give an exchange (as I've stated all along, my mistake so fair enough) but will do another set for £22

I think the driver was more important then the car, I don't know the guy but I've read lots about him the last few days and he sounded like a decent guy. R.I.P KC.

Battery prices at Halfords. What planet are they on exactly?! Funnily enough, I don't want to spend £109 on a battery for my £250 car. Cheapest they had was £90. No deal! My two Citroens are now sharing a batttery. (2CV is powerless at the moment).

Then I was grumpy with myself. New rad fitted to the BX - looks lovely. Filled it up (how expensive is coolant etc etc) and wondered what the splashing sound was. I'd forgotten to swap a pipe over to the new rad. Old hoseclips utterly borked - not even a smaller socket could help me. Ripped them off and stuck the hose on (someone please remind me that I need to buy some new hoseclips at some point!). Started filling it again. Found another thing I'd forgotten to swap over. DOH!

Then started trying to bleed the cooling system. Couldn't get a warm heater. Decided to use a rather sloping section of the driveway to get the tail down and the nose up. Clever eh? Worked too. Air went for the highest point, which was now the top of the rad. Excellent. Then got stuck because all the weight had been removed from one of the front wheels by my 'clever' parking. Doh!

To finish, the fan isn't cutting in and the 'universal' mounting for my new temp gauge won't fit anywhere on the BX.

However, I did get to drive it up and down the driveway again, and that still made me grin - but I can't be bothered to put this last little bit in the grin thread.

Battery prices are up at the moment, to do with the price of lead or summat.

Get a trade card and watch those prices tumble

Not a problem for me, I get 50% off at the local battery specialist :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that. Is it a US-Spec Merc W123 and a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow she's in the way of?
