I found a pic of a newspaper article about a cx newspaper van on here this morning but could finish reading it, now I can't remember where it was

Posted

In a stroke of karmic justice, I went to the hospital campus at the other end of town earlier, fired up the laptop and...35102467_10213828024149702_6067888121721All I wanted to do was check some patching and switch port settings. Ended up taking half an hour.

But Bill is a nice guy apparently so all is well with the world.....

Or he is a knob whose legacy is millions of screens like that, I know which I think.

WANKER DAILY MAIL CUNTS MAKING THE RNLI LOOK LIKE A LOAD OF SELFISH ARSEHOLES

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5825765/RNLI-accused-imperilling-British-lives-lifeboat-cuts-spent-3m-safety-abroad.html

Facts are wrong you pricks - brave volunteers would tonight leave their families and put their lives in mortal danger to fish one of you cunts out of the sea if necessary. Whatever time of day or night, whatever the conditions, whoever you are - they will be there.

They don't want a shred of thanks ether.

The foreign aid we supply (I work for the RNLI) is used in areas where high rates of child drowning occurs - what is to criticise there?

I'm proud as hell to be a part of something that does so much good and humbled by the selfless bravery of our volunteer crewmen and women.

Fucking bastard Daily Mail shitheads.

Hmm let’s think for a second, Daily Mail and the RNLI? The Daily Mail are a bunch of vile pathetic individuals who sell hate for a living. The RNLI as an organisation shows the very best qualities of humankind on a daily basis, on an invididual basis, it’s members show themselves to be true heroes on each and every call. Ignore the Hate, the public know the truth!

The Daily Mail couldn't give a tiny shit about that unless a.) they were white or b.) They look sexy in paparazzi photos despite being under age.

Right.

This:

The RNLI has also come under fire for sacking two lifeboatmen in Whitby, North Yorkshire, because their mugs featured naked women.

Is not the case. It's not for me to say, but what actually happened was not acceptable.

They are just scum who revel in causing strife. Tragic individuals. Don’t let them bug you.

..I probably wouldn't publish my address on an open forum though, you might want to remove that link...

It's now only showing where you've quoted it!

I thought the RNLI's official response to that nonsense was spot on tbh.

We've had big cuts up here :/

Luckily St Abbs went indy.

We lost our ALB :(

I actually think that the move away from the cannon to pagers and now mobiles has hurt public perception a bit... When I was a kid the whole town knew when the boat was called out, because the whole town heard it.

The ILB Atlantic 85 is an incredible lifeboat too. Capable of deep sea rescues too if the swell is not too bad.

Can't beat an ALB though, fabulous things.

I don’t know what you’re moaning about, tbh. My missus said I never buy her flowers.

I didn’t even know she sold them.

Your wife said "you never buy my flowers"?

"You never buy me flowers" works with many an accent...

Get 2 bags of self raising. And stand open mouthed afterwards just saying “what?”

Let her go mental and storm off

Turn flour into a mix with eggs, butter, sugar and other required ingredients and make a cake. At this point she will come down to criticise the mess and the method you have used but no matter, cake now exists where none previously did. This alchemy is better than flowers

Remember flowers > good

Cake > flowers

I am a bellend, but I have now fixed my bellendery. Thank you for pointing it out, it honestly never crossed my mind!

I don’t know what you’re moaning about, tbh. My local petrol station had a letter stolen from its sign last night.

They're sending out an Esso S.

Sadly - imagine the reaction to a single loud explosion in the current climate!

It would give the daily wank another terrorism related link to another U.K. institution though I'm sure.

My home town of Sunderland has RNLI guys/girls doing a fantastic job and I lived close enough to see them going out sometimes where I truelly would be thinking f*** that! Not religious but god bless em all.......

Sadly my cousin was a total f***ing idiot and would steal the harbour rowing boat they use to shuttle out to moored craft, get out past the harbour mouth and piers then throw the oars - necessitating the launch....... arsehole.

The CX newspaper van was in a thread called illegal Road trip

Love you, thanks! Brilliant read! (and thank you Datsuncog who also said where it was but which I read after finishing the article and coming back here to say thanks)

Wish cx's weren't so bloody expensive in okish condition!
