Wiki says a 240 saloon is 1371kg and a wagon is 1421kg.Euroncap say a current Fiesta weights 1063kg.

So more than a 2 door Amazon then. Bloody nora.

My mistake  still bloody heavy for its size, though. Plenty heavy enough to be undriveable without PAS at low speeds, as well as being heavy enough to destroy whatever it crashes into :(

Got home last night to find that a rusty wheelbarrow without a wheel, the porous and leaky fuel tank off the Panda 4x4 and exhaust backbox off the same, have been nicked off my trailer loaded with rubbish.......Granted I was only going to take it all to the tip.But that's not the point. Cheeky Bastards.

ARRRGGHHH!!!I knew the happy moment wouldn't last.Bird I asked out at work turned up at a collegues leaving do yesterday with a lad who is known for being a bit sleazy, shall we say.1. Why did she say yes to me?2. Why did she sound enthusiastic and suggest stuff we could do?3. Why did she bring another bloke to the staff party? (he was the only non staff member there) - talk about rubbing my nose in it.Luckily my collegues are aware of this lads reputation so most of the evening was spent taking the piss out of him.

Bah, thats shit Mr Sparrow.Seems to happen so often with the so-called fairer sex. You just think you're nicely in there, but they almost always have an in-built knack of knocking you down at the last minute. They're not wired up right.Did the sleazy guy realise you guys were taking the piss out of him? hope so.

PAIN.....Two years ago I started having these really bad headaches and was diagnosed as having "cluster" headaches. Now this was the worse thing I've ever had to endure. They lasted for ten days and each headache lasted for between eight to ten hours and was agony. Your head feels like it's bursting and the pain is concetrated over the left eye, and it feels like someone is tugging the back of your eyeball. The eye swells up and streams for the full time the head ache is occuring. The doc had me on morphine, which had no effect whatsoever and a bottle would be gone in two days....I also had to have these injections via a plunger device into my thigh, they were forty quid a pop and also had no effect. And packets of pain killers, I also decided to smoke some green which surprisingly enough seemed to take the edge of a bit, but were talking a small bit and I would have tried anything. At one point my wife drove me to hospital where I just curled up in a ball and cried because they said there was nothing they could do. I could have killed the scrote in the next bay who was moaning about a little splinter...When the headaches come they are preceeded by what the quacks call "shadow", a dull ache above the left eye.....I've been getting this "shadow" on and off for a few weeks now and I'm shitting it because I think they are going to return. Now I've had lots of times when I've been in pain, I broke three bones in my back. Had a chest drain inserted while I was awake, that fucking stings and matey was'nt exactly gentle while he hacked through my chest wall, and the fucking dopey porter crashed my wheelchair into a door making me drop the bottle thing that was helping my lung to re-inflate, ripping the drain out.....bastard twat.... But these headaches really worry me, and if any body else has ever had them (apparently they are common) I am FULLY sympathetic...I fucking hope they don't come back......

It has genuinely upset me, to me it seems like a deliberate attempt to wind me up. I have called in sick today, partly cos Im hungover and party cos I wikll feel stupid going in there.Yeah the piss taking was obvious, to the point of my mate chucking a can of lager at his face. Which was a small consolation.Hudson - your headaches sound awful, I as going to moan about hangovers but I wont, I hope something can be done.

Sorry for your woman trouble Red Sparra. With luck she'll catch galloping flange-rot off Slimey Man, and will have to endure the shame of the clap clinic. Even if this doesn't happen, feel free to start some office gossip that she's got a cauliflower fanny anyway.

Don´t give up on her, maybe she just wants to test you if you are really interested in her. No, I am not making fun of you, that´s exactly what happened to me. I did it wrong, thought that I don´t have a chance because she´s with the other guy but that turned out wrong at the end.:roll:

Hudson, that sounds really bad. I sometimes get headache caused by being too tired / eye strain which pretty much stops me doing anything other than going to bed. Yours sounds about 100x worse so must be bloody awful.Pain - few months ago the dentist gave me an injection into the roof of my mouth. OMFG that really, really hurt. Dislocated my shoulder a few years back and that was seriously fucking painful as well.

Hudson:I used to have headaches like that, was prescribed Valium that did help to ward them off a bit but when they did hit I was completely unable to do anything at all but retire to a completely dark and quiet room, take a bottle of paracetamol and a months supply of Valium that didn't help one bit.My doctor at the time said that they would stop after ten years and bugger me, they did. For another fifteen years I still got absolutely crushing headaches but nothing like the pain experienced with the first lot, which were said to be migrain, mainly due to the flashing lights that precluded an attack. The initial attack was at home and I felt as though I had been hit on the back of the skull with a hammer.I saw dazzling light then blackness, crashed to the floor and was unconscious for ten minutes.I sympathise and empathise with your predicament and hope you get some resolution faster than I did.

Hudsonpie , I really feel for you , ive had a mild headache for over a week now , mine apparently is defered pain from my neck :? , still annoying though , Only ever had one really bad migrane and that was hideous , yours sounds much worst ,You have my sympathy Sir.Strange as i was just reading up on headaches and i didnt know the brain has no nerves so cannot technically " hurt " , doesnt fucking feel like that thoughEDIT , just a thought but Mrs RP used to get blinding migranes all the time , turned out to be an intolerence to lactose , no more lactose , no more migranes , I know its a totally different senario but you never know , could be some sort of food intolerence , im no Doc mind .

You'd never use 'carburetor' and 'laptop' together would you.

Errr, we will be tomorrow
The mid 90's Lada Nivas were equipped with a carb and an engine management module IIRC. The chaps over on Lada.co.uk plug theirs into laptops to tune them.

Early '90s Nissans had a similar setup, with an electronically controlled carb, and a catalytic converter. Performance was flat, to say the least.

How much!I need to travel to York (well Thirsk actually) so I have been trying to find what it will cost on the train. By using the various web-sites it appears £91 is the cost for a single ticket.

This has found the cheapest prices for every combination of your journeys (where possible)

Strange then that by buying a ticket from Cardiff Central to Bristol Parkway (£9.70) and from Parkway to York (£75) I can get it down to £84.70.I'm sure that if I can be bothered to spend the time I could get it down even further. If only I was an MP I'm sure there'd be a cheaper way.

Watch BBC news. Wait until they cut to a video, and then return to the reporters. I BET they smack their lips before they speak, or make some other disgusting slopping noise. My girlfriend watches this shite and I'm sick of it.

My drivable car is away having some previous repairs repaired. I'm struggling with the concept of having to plan trips based around buses and walking in the rain rather than just going when and where I like.

i'll be getting lift's as there isnt any buses round these here parts  just hate not having a car to just jump in and drive
