started to feel a bit strange

This. My missus has had a couple of episodes recently which has resulted in her going to A&E (first time with 9 stitches in her smashed up head). She was worried that she was epileptic or something and would not be able to drive but the doctors said they they were happy it was not that and she was okay to drive because she was aware that something was about to go wrong before it happened. They dont know what is causing it but were not worried as think it was just a faint as she was aware of it before. Someone might have more experience of this but thats what they told us a few weeks ago.

Personally, I think it is just exhaustion so she has been banned from doing too much exercise (she is a keep fit fanatic) but she is still sneaking off and doing mega long runs and is not 'just going to the gym for a swim', a bit like me when I say 'I am just off out to the get a screwdriver from the garage' and I have a glass of scotch before setting off to work in the morning.

Just been informed that the MOD have thrown their dummy out of their pram and kicked my company out of their sector.

Redundancy looms, just as I've got a new house and stuff... GR5....

I've taken apart many cars, including engines, and put them back together again, comprising of big ends and tiny 1mm springs.

And yet ...

I CAN'T FIGURE OUT THIS FRIGGING HEATING BOILER IN MY HOUSE!

Please heater boiler manufacturers, make your units simpler to use and less prone to breaking, you sheistering c**ts.

Seller on the blue forum whinges no-one's looking at his steering wheel. I explain how moribund the for sale forum is. Somehow he takes this as an insult and decides I'm low-balling him.

Never mind. Would have looked nice on the 305, that.

And he's now thrown his toys out of the pram and gone home, and sent me a shitty PM to boot. Jesus.

aparently someones trying to / has jumped off the handy cross roundabout (j4 m40) so the whole motorway is being diverted down into marlow and along my fucking route home!

Good job I'm going to a friends house after work, hopefully the TRAFFIK KAOS will be clear by then!

My van lost all it's new electricity just before Junction 4 of the M18 this morning.

(I'd suspected it might so had a spare battery in the back, changed it over and nursed it back home trying to save what I could as it's a smaller battery).

The battery light is on all the time so I assume something alternator related?

2.4 LWB/HiRoof malarky.

I'd keep it but it uses diesel like I had a trade card account.

Hey if you want some HOT MARLOW ACTION watch the Railway programme at 9pm on BBC. A bit sad really. In other news it Explains why Slough is full of sat-nav dither's this evening.

I'll record that, be good to see the donkey!

The m40 is open but royally fucked. Back roads (wooburn to Stokey, 2 to 5) is fine though FYI.

Am I being unreasonable to think that all stanced/stretched tyre/sticking out wheels etc is a bit of a strange mod?

I don't understand the logic behind it all, especially when you look on the blue forum and every thread you click looks like a collapsed scalextric car. I browse this forum all the time now, blue forum really does grind my gears (and before anyone says it yes I know I painted my car matt black, just without the retarded wheels/stickers/rust patches/Hawaiian crap that all the sheep use)

At the Retro-Rides gathering in 2007, a Toyota something or other was doing a demonstration on the track, showing off it's stretched tyres and stance yo. I did laugh when it shat it's tyres mid-bend. I know we rant about this almost as often as we do about how crap Autoshite has become and how shit all modern cars are, but I don't understand modifications that make a car worse.

the blue forum is fantastic! I love it - gives me many hours of fun!

For once, Brewer was right, should have kept it brown........awful lot of skimping in last night's episode, such as how they got that horrendous crease in the door sorted out............

yes.

lets spend 500 quid on a LSD but nothing on the engine/gearbox/rear suspension

and then paint it yellow

As I understand it, the primary reason for stretched wheels is a way to get a car lower without modifying the wheel arches and it has evolved from that to what you see now, rather like how estate agents* shoes get pointier, their skin more orange and their suits shinier with every passing year. The estate agents themselves don't see it happening, but in a subconscious bid to outdo each other and themselves, they're heading towards looking like plasticoted rakes with pumpkins stuck on top.

*I am aware this is a sweeping generalisation of the trade, but this is Autoshite.

/\ I've just met that very agent this morning and he must have thought I was a right prat because I couldn't stop smirking :D

I got offered a mk1 Escrote 2 door rolling shell today infact. It needs a bit of weldage in the boot and the guy wants £2500. Sounds like a lot of money for a rolling shell but if I could get it back on the road and sell it I could probably retire.

Lenny Henry getting the freedom of his home town for services to entertainment. As he's actually about as 'entertaining' as eating a nettle and glass butty I'm at a loss to see why Dudley town council have given him that 'award'.

Posted
Probably because there's f*ck all else worth celebrating in Dudley!

Steady on its not that bad :) ! Don't forget the Black Country was the heart of the industrial revolution.

He has actually been granted the freedom of Dudley borough, whatever it means by freedom! Maybe he gets free Faggots and Paays from the Old Swan in Netherton! There is a lot of history in the area and much worth visiting!

I know a guy who used to play football with him as a child!

Seriously fed up and fucked off because I can't find a decent Ford Focus for love nor money. Trawled ebay and gumtree literally every evening but nothing is coming up which is in my price range, my Fiesta daily is on it's last legs which isn't helping either, and adding to my stress levels which are through the roof as I'm moving into a flat with SWMBO this weekend....

Lenny Henry did a gig at a theatre I worked at a few years ago. The whole show was him talking about how great he thought himself and his singing was.

Apart from that all he did was reel out the old jokes about differences between white and black people as if it was still the 80s. Me and the other younger staff actually found it slightly ignorant.
