Here's my current motor - had it for a month now.

I'm just about down to single car ownership...

My daily shite 1.9 TDI Polo, not doing 100 miles a day anymore so sold awaiting collection:

Posted Image

(the pictures to sell it are the first ones I've ever taken of it... I don't hate it or anything but it was just a means to an end as it were).

Technically I own this except it's in Ireland and rotted beyond hope (had a second MK1 from same seller but sold that on without ever touching it) :(

So I will be left with this as my only motor vehicle:

Greetings. Thought it's about time I posted a few pictures since I've been registered a while now and lurking for ages before that. Apologies for the low quality of my shite!

First up the Beetle (with apologies to the haters!). In my defence it's the archaic 1200cc model and unmodified apart from a crap aftermarket steering wheel and a gear knob that is notionally attached to the gear lever with blu-tac.

This was taken a few years back when it looked vaguely presentable. Recently it's resided in my Mum's garage after I spunked some money on getting a new floor welded in but haven't been arsed to put it back together.

Secondly the R5. My old man bought this brand new. Price: £5555.

Check out my colour-coding skillz on the mirrorz! Extra shite points please for the low spec; I believe there was only one item on the options list:

Sales assistant: Would you like a rear wash/wipe - it's an optional extra?

WorldofCeri_snr: How much is it?

Sales assistant: £150.

WorldofCeri_snr: Err.. no thanks.

Parked it up on my Mum's drive (much to her ongoing dismay) when it started making a horrendous rattle; broken valve perhaps? Dunno, haven't investigated yet. That was 3 years ago but you know how it is - can't bear to part etc.

The current jalopy: The Weekend!

Apparently designed to go-wrong repeatedly until the owner spontaneously-combusts. Hilariously, the heater doesn't work.

Or, more accurately, the heater is jammed on and the fan doesn't work. Consequently you either have to have all the windows wound down (summer) or constantly wipe condensation from the windscreen (winter).

That's all for now!

Old Ford shite. I've been using this for the last 18 months, had one breakdown which cost £15 to sort out.

That 100 is indeed lovely. I'd like one of those, in that colour.

I've been surfing foreign ads looking for a 200 Turbo in that colour. but they all appear to be mentally expensive.

Your Audi is lovely 8) , How come your selling the Polo John, Thought you had only just got it repainted?.

i have yes, but you know with 2 kids its hard to go anywhere when the misses in out in the passat lugger, so looking for a bigger car, 604, 505, 504, 404, 403, Tagora, Simca 1308, Aronde could all be a possibility at this moment

Thanks for the comments everyone :)

Of all the cars I've owned this is my favorite, and I can safely say it will never be sold.

Big ,comfy, plenty fast enough and pretty economical and the 5 pot sounds great. Not to mention uber reliable, in the 8 months I've owned it I haven't had to open my toolbox!

I'm looking for a rhd 200 5T, anything considered!

Right... err... lets get this out the way. In age order... *drumroll*

I know these arn't over popular here

I dragged her out of the field she had been sitting in for several years, 3 years ago. We jump started her, checked the brakes and drove her to a mot which she failed on 26 items. Two years or so of welding later she finally passed and took us camping last year. This year shes been crap, but once her new carbs are set up she should be back on form.

Theres no moderns, Our bicycles are all late 70s early 80s and the broken Yamaha 125 in the back gardens on a M reg 8)

605 SRTi 2 litre turbo.Heather Mills spec.Taxed and tested for a couple of months for the price of a Halfords push bike.Typical French electrics where everything is on strike and only works when it feels like it.The speedo flickers into life occassionally and the heater fan is the same. The drivers window gets stuck. The electric aerial is now a coat hanger. One of the alloys has a puncture so it's on one steel wheel.Near side wheel bearing drones and near side C.V. clicks.Traded in to my mate's forecourt yesterday.Nice motor...not...

Howdy! Obviously stripey white BX estates are all the rage at the moment. One at Classics on the Common, yours and my green thing!
