trigger
I thought i make this post after a comment ChinaTom had made in another post.Lately I've seen a lot of bitching and moaning on this forum which I've never seen on here before, Instead of moaning let's post some photos of our shite. It's been a while since we have had one of these and I've lost track of what car's you peeps have now, And rare to non posters also feel free to post what you drive as well, It be nice to hear from you! They don't have to be all shite, If you drive a Ferrari GTO or Maybach your still welcome to post photos of it, Just be nice to see what you have. Just make this a happy thread please! My daily smoker, My VW Passat, Great car this, much cheaper than a Golf but just as good if not better. Mrs Trigger's Micra 1.5 DCi, Again, A fine little car, Cheap as chips to run even though it does have a Renault engine. And my little toy, It's locked in the garage at the moment as the tax has ran out and it's not worth renewing until next year now, I miss it. dollywobbler
Good idea. Let's combat the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder and celebrate some stunning shite! To recap, here's my lot. 2CV is not shite, but has some shitey bits as she's my year-round hack. It makes me smile because it does this... Wife's daily isn't really shite, but it is shite City E spec, so that's ok. Black bumpers FTW! The BX tends to do more of the daily slog this time of year after its 3200 mile trek around France. It's great. The Bond is the biggest piece of autoshite I've ever owned. I really like it. At some point in the last week, the jam jar lid fuel cap went missing. I've now gaffer taped a piece of plastic over the hole but methinks I need a more professional replacement... The Bedford CF. Currently with a friendly mechanic, seeing if it'll live again. And finally, the latest shite arrival. The BX is the modern car but typically, the 2CV still clocks up over 10,000 miles a year. Richard
The Volvosaurus, Like VWP's shed it's a 2.4D 6-banger, but it also has a completely ineffectual turbo and intercooler. The combination of lighting and new windscreen makes it look like new, it doesn't look like that in real life.

dollywobbler
Yo wobbler! Have you done any write-ups anywhere on your Bond? It loks most interesting. How did you get it out the scrappage carry-on?Certainly have. You're clearly not a regular reader! In short, Kia announced that they'd scrapped a Bond Equipe but when I asked for details, they told me the new car hadn't been delivered yet, so the car hadn't yet been scrapped. I moved pretty sharpish to convince them not to scrap it and after no-one came forward (at the requested £2000!) I offered £1000 and got the shoddy thing myself.Latest Bond news - Co-op were selling some funky new 'temporary' fuel filler caps, so I've just bought one. Quite a neat screw action on them these days and the claim to be MoT-proof. Sorted.

trigger
Alfasud Super: and my Alfetta GTV:Oh my, Those two are lovely, Have you got any more photo's of the Alfasud?, It looks like the one in this months PC magazine (I know it's not). There was one for sale local to me a while back in green, think it was a 1.3 Ti, it was mint with only 30000 odd miles for £2500, wish i went to see it now!. Mad Cyril
Agreed. The Sud truly is a thing of beauty (mind you, so is Ians Bond so don't go trusting my judgement ). My biggest smile raiser is my 2cv... I've owned this for over 18 years now and love it (even though I never use it) This was always one of my dream cars which I finally got to own about seven years ago (but again I never get the time to use it) And this is used for runs to the tip and B&Q, towing the trailer or whatevers broken down, pulling up tree stumps etc...I've really bonded with it since spending three months welding it. It must be the world most solid Range Rover now. I'm planning to use it every day as soon as I find an oil well in my back garden. The Liberator
[i've got one of those parked outside,it's my Dad's & he's got no room for it at home Ironic, the GTV is at my dad's, I've got no room for mine at home. That's his Unoshite dog transporter in the background. Thanks for all the positive Sud comments, will put some more pictures up when I've boshed them on Photobucket.Trigger, I think the Sud in PC belongs to a bloke from up North who's owned loads of Suds, it's a horrible Verde 'suite avocado bagno' colour? Ours was in Auto Italia last year.
Pete-M
I'm a bit devoid of proper shite at the moment.... Daily drive is the Audi. Still in the wilds of the Czech Republic is my Escort, which quite probably still looks exactly like this.. I'm tempted to go on a ShiteSafariâ„¢ and see what LHD mongrels I can drag back from Europe in a few months.

Guest
Here is my current list of shite, in order of use value: 2006 Citroen C4 HDi 92. Now faithful daily, trust restored. Needs new NS track rod end. 1966 Volvo Amazon 121. Getting there, body half done. Wonky bootlid, major mechanical organs on their way out. Needs recon engine, overdrive, new OS front caliper, rear brake adjusters, and new springs and dampers. 1987 Isuzu Piazza Turbo. SORN'd and for sale at £400. Needs recommissioning for an MOT. Don't think I can get it out of the door until January at the earliest. Needs a new fuel line for starters. Station will be getting a call about this one. Please note, don't bother if £300 is too much to pay for insurance. 1978 Mitsubishi Celeste 1600 GSR. A firm favourite amongst the deranged Irish car fraternity. Runs, fuel leak sorted, needs a new windscreen and seatbelts and an epic fuckload of fabrication on the rear arches, as well as a new front brake caliper and front dampers. pompei
The PC Sud belongs to my mate Steve Parry (aka Mr Sud) It's a very straight and original car, and not being a Green Cloverleaf, this model does tend to get a bit overlooked. From a nut and bolt to a complete car, he'll have it! (I should be his copywriter)
