2004/04 Berlingo Van £SOLD

Didn't really want to be selling this without seeing it through fully, but as I've now 3 cars on my own fleet out of 4 needing attention, I feel I must make room and time to get on with those.

Bought originally as a non-runner, I had it towed home, pulled the wiring apart and buzzed the loom, and taped it back up. I have been using it without fault for around 200 miles, save for some water getting in the abs unit plug. (I have treated it with elec. Cleaner and Wd40, it occasionally misbehaves in wet weather still)

It now has a comprehensive service history, it has had a refurbished rear axle, alternator and a new clutch within the last few years, and the cambelt done in 2014 at 73k.

Currently the mileage is 114k and the mot is due June 2020, in my opinion the sills may require attention as they are a bit tatty, for the time being I have flatted them back and covered them in stone chip paint. The body is generally good, save for giffer touch ups all over in the wrong shade of green.

It has remote central locking, both keys and does generally drive really well, HOWEVER, the EGR valve seems to be stuck as when vacuum tested, it holds but does not sound to be moving. This manifests itself as a slight hunting between 1800-2000rpm.

EDIT- EGR NOW REPLACED, NOT MADE ANY DIFFERENCE.

I will give it a minor service before collection, but the price is a firm £650, which reflects the work it has had in the past, but also the fact it needs a little more fettlement.

Correct, it even has the metal bash plate underneath!

They used to have their own garage/s and always really looked after their vehicles, as can be seen from the receipts with yours.

The paperwork with this one is from when it was privately owned, luckily a local firm had mot'd and I was able to get a copy of the work they had carried out. The service book has been totally untroubled by the garage's stamp for quite some time.

Where are you located fella... I like the look of this shite wagon, ideal to move me mopeds... Is it keep fit windows ? what is the interior like as that's where as a owner I would be most of the time (one hopes) and not looking at the geezer touch ups.

I'm in Lincolnshire, not far from Lincoln or Skegmess.

Sorry, interior is pretty good, bit of wear to whatever the weird plastyshite the seats are hewn from, but even Mrs Ruff commented on home comfy it is.

It has remote locking, electric windows, full bulkhead and towbar.

Fooke me, that wagon has spend some time in the workshop, looks like it was in every other week for something.

If this is FC green and has the bash guard it’ll probably have a limited-slip diff too, which was I believe part of FC spec.

...or perhaps not. Checking VIN on ServiceCitroen says the following:

Oh, and the paint code is KSL Forest Green. Shown as ‘Fleet paint’ on ServiceCitroen.

LSD models were in 2006, XTR+.

I could really do with this right now - as I've got my rental house to empty and refurbish from top to bottom.  Anyone fancy a Vel Satis?!

Working EGR valve procured and thoroughly cleaned. Hope to find the time to get it on soon!

It's made no odds on this one sadly. I'll have a look in the fault log next week.

Going to bump this as I could really do with it being away, may sell the multispace in due course too.

Solid, honest, little bit scruffy around the edges, glf.

My commute is going from 8 miles of flat and level to 15 miles of fuckbastard hills so it'll bankrupt me unfortunately. Just paid to take the 's40' plate off so I'll be selling that seperately.

Maybe. Let me think.
