Ahm oot, BUT

The MOT power steering thing. Mine did that every year at the test. It's something like it's running at high revs for a certain amount of time (for the emissions test) but not moving and it gets upset and thinks some sensor must be busy so it disables the PAS and throws the light. Then you get half a mile down the road and it starts working again cos it accepts that it's moving so all must be well.
