Ford Capri Ls - Picture 3 of 17

Ford Capri Ls | eBay UK

It's hard to say where to start with this monstrosity. The wheels and the number plates  are equally hideous, and that's before we get onto the black roof and the silver(?) tide marks

Is the A-pillar just cardboard and gold paint?!

That looks v reasonably priced and a honest little thing. If I didn't already have one I'd be interested however the appliance colour would put me off a little. Fancy another @MrGTI6?

Edit: is that a distributor cap showing on the engine shot? They can't have been common on new in '95 cars.

Cor - P-reg too. I wonder what happened to my old VX2300 estate full of panels and most of Obsolete Vauxhall Spares' FE stock as of 2000ish...

Like the auto and sunroof, less fond of the blowover and bubbles with extra rust staining.

My old Capris come back up for sale, with a ton of horrible modifications and a £7000 increase in price, I'm so pleased I went to all the trouble in recommissioning it to end up like this.

Urgh.

Most Capris i see now sport some very questionable mods. Its like the originality thing has passed them by.

A chap I know has a Laser, currently running on gold wheels and black number plates.

Spares 'Stro, bidding starts at £104 because ebay. It's in Lincoln. https://ebay.us/m/PIOeYaScreenshot_20260404_114133_eBay.jpg.9fa11994a3b30d81942aeac27753e31e.jpg

It's an early 3-piece dash if that interests anyone. I think the Maestro Massif on here are all down with the one-piece Crackmaster Special. Screenshot_20260404_114059_eBay.jpg.1edba6897d2fb427947dfae7433db1ad.jpg

This sold for £1600 on eBay at the start of the year

Yeah. 'Tiktok cars' hoping for a £1400 profit.

I'm thinking maybe it was bought as a daily for someone then something broke which is NLA so they've bodged it to punt it on

No one is going to spend £3k on that. No one. Not even people who buy stuff for social media clout will want that at that money. It's a mediocre car that will be boring to drive and impossible to find parts for.
