Head rebuilt 2020, new clutch last year, loads of ticket. Someone get this thing bought, it's all the car you'll ever need and only going to go one way in value.

Now dropped to £1,350. I'm having serious thoughts about flogging my 5 door hatch and getting this in its place, if my hatch was an estate it would honestly be the perfect car for me.

I thought it looked more like a Mitsi, didn't know Dodge marketed them.  If it goes 1/3 better than the 1200 5-dr LHD Lancer estate I had it will be a weapon!

They were sold under various different names:-

Plymouth Colt/Cricket in Canada

Chrysler Galant/Valiant Galant in Australia

Chrysler Colt/Dodge Colt in South Africa

Dodge Colt in USA

Colt Galant/Mitsubishi Galant everywhere else

My guess on the heater is the blend door has snapped on the  plastic square tab connecting it to the stepper motor.

Blows cold until the fastest blower setting that air pushes the blend door up making air flow through the heater matrix.

Also low battery for the power steering light.

Pat Pat is a serial Maestro/Montego fetishist from North Wales. Someone torched a Y-reg Maestro of his last year or the year before. There are various stories about him, which others on here may be able to elaborate on.

Colt, yes. Galant was a bigger car. I once borrowed a trade in 2l saloon from the garage I worked at, a brilliant drive.

It means you should give the car a very wide berth indeed.
