The chassis looks to be either an Austin7 or Morris 8 and the engine is an A series, the body is anyones guess.

From the days before IVA when you could knock something up in your shed and drive it anywhere you liked

Ideal basis for making a special.  It's not even far.

HONDA CB400/4 SUPER SPORT 1977 CLASSIC - Barn Find/Restoration Project - Picture 3 of 7

HONDA CB400/4 SUPER SPORT 1977 CLASSIC - Barn Find/Restoration Project | eBay UK

£299.99 in Birkenhead.

I got a hedge find GT250 and the remains of a James Cadet (or something like that) from Birkenhead.  The vendor said there'd been a Lambretta in the same garden, but sadly it was no longer there.

God knows why, poorest excuse for a car to ever wheeze & wobble of a production line.

Epitomises why we no longer have a car industry.

A prime example of the old BL habit of replacing a best selling model with something worse in pretty much every conceivable way

Nice patina on the Marina.

Not sure if this is structural cardboard on the inner wing.

Comes with free old newspaper to do a traditional repair on that rear quarter.

Wicked.

I kind of agree with you but a navy blue Morris Ital Estate was part of my childhood so I do have a bit of a soft spot for them

My spider senses tell me it may have been used to stop an oversized battery arcing out on the bonnet

Chassis definitely isn't Austin 7, but I can't help beyond that

Same except ours was white.

The want is very strong even though I don't disagree with @sheffcortinacentre's summation
