Anyone remember that bit of 'Kez' when the lead actor was off sick so they got Billy Elliot to do it but he had pigs legs instead of human ones?

1300 V4??   Is that really possible?  Thought the 13s were the kent crossflows and the V4s were 2.0 or 1.7s?  Prepared to be educated…..

Yes because it's a continental version. The cologne V4 was avl as 1.3/1.5/1.7,  V6 was 2.0/2.3/2.6/2.8

English Essex V4 was 1.7/2.0 & V6 was 2.5/3.0/3.1 plus 3.4 in South Africa

Europe also got a 1300 Pinto, which we didn’t.

It was fitted in UK market sierras (82-84) base/L  ( hatchback only)

Ah, yes, I forgot about the 1.3 Sierra. I just saw it recently in a Mk5 Cortina/Taunus.

Yes on continent it was used in TC3 Taunus.

The 1.8 ohc was used in MK2 Granada too I believe.

I wonder how that compared with the 1300 Kent engine in smaller Fords of the era.

The chap who bought the Mk5 Cortina/Taunus 1.3 and drove it back to Brittany across France, seemed to think it did ok. I’d like to see the comparison too.
