Same engine as in my Corona EXiV.

Anyway, what about a 57k mile OAP owned Top spec Velsatis with the 3.5 V6 in a rare color? Just failed it's mot spectacularly after only standing for about a year. He might take 1000 if you are quick. Just goes to show how relatively well sorted mine was at almost twice the mileage.

Naturally the electronic parking brake gave up as well. A lot of the electrics might come back from just using it though.

Now £995, you don't even have to negotiate anymore!

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202504161416274 This looks ace. I'd bet it isn't.

edit: it's mostly Mitsubishi. Verdict: pointless.

Hopelessly overpriced for what it is considering you can get a similar age V8 Camaro or TransAm for the same money but interesting import nevertheless. These are indeed very much Mitsubishi based.

Another "Essex" 3.8 V6 Mustang, this time in a much less interesting colour combination. Pondering these as an ownership prospect as a fun summer car. DIY maintenance probably not too bad being a pushrod v6 and I imagine parts supply is good if you can wait for shipping. Big for the UK though, and I've never tried LHD. Years ago I measured up my rented garage for a late 80s Camaro (Same shape as the Top Gear Car)- it was cms either side lol.

Parts supply is very good/cheap ( week/10 days from rock auto), decent to drive roomy/comfy , simple to work on, similar size to omega, etc, LHD not really a problem.

Sluggish performance compared to UK counterparts more cruiser than sportster.

Do they shit their big ends like my 140 did?

I think they had bad piston rings and would burn oil. Same problem as the previous 7A 1.8 and to a much lesser degree the 3S 2.0.

Yeah about what I expected. LHD would be a personal preference thing, "performance" I don't care about. The size was always an issue for storage and in the past I concluded an Omega or Jaguar may be a better option...but I don't really like either....

Mine  was wider than cortina but not much longer.

Performance I was disappointed ( knew it wasn't gonna be a rocket) I've driven 3 & they were all same so wasn't just mine.

One picture? Half the car in the shade? Trying hard for that sale? 1/10 must try harder.

I really like this but my bike knowledge ain’t great

GN250s were relatively simple things, won't do a great speed but a good old plodder.  Didn't deserve to be turned into that.
