I've sent him a pm, I want to know whether those are rust holes or just moss growing out of the boot.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

Fairthorpe TX Tripper. Never seen one of these outside of my Observer's book of automobiles.

Triumph Herald based?  https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1126100372888509

It just needs a smiley face painting on the bonnet then it could be a trippers Tripper.

Yeah, it's completely rotten. Shame considering it's low mileage and didn't seem to have much of a reason for being parked there.

Very shagged but (hopefully) saveable 'long way round' Bantam. It's also got the perfect example(s) of how to number plate.

Take note, all you shiny plated wrong uns.

'Smal repair on back quarter and repair on passenger door'

The passenger door 'repair' is about the best thing I've ever seen on eBay

In all honesty for a first "skim" of filler that's pretty easily repairable. My concern would be it's a lot of filler near a flexible part of the door, ie the movement of the handle could cause it to crack quite easily.

It's like filling bonnets, they look alright for a bit but any constant flexing can give a lot of issues.

Didn’t Charlie boorman do a series called long way round with what’s his name on bikes?
