Edited because whilst Andy is clearly a twat, the others don't impress much.

Careful, that's @richardmorris's next door neighbour you're talking about there.

Hacker Engineering? Best example of nominative determinacy I’ve seen for a while.

And since when has a random “K” plate been a “private plate”? I can’t see anything valuable about it, unless it’s a sign that the builder should have been locked up.

I wouldn’t even give that space on @grizz’s drive. 🤣

That's hacksaw engineering - when you cut off the roof with a hacksaw...🤣

Having owned a 100 as an 18 year old, I have no desire to repeat the experience.  However, nice hue and lex plates.

In 1965 Vietnam seemed like just another foreign war, but it wasn't

This could be a nice winter project; running by spring ready for chips at the beach etc.

They still don’t actually work for a living. I’m reminded of Douglas adams - Mostly Harmless.

Don’t the wheels look dinky! 15”?

Think they're the same RS ones that were available on the later 2.8 Capris, only a 13" IIRC. Possible a 14, but not 15" as they would have been Capri Brooklands ones, or a softer line spokey thing.

Says collect Romford, but sellers address is on a shitty estate in Chelmsford. Ford Sierra Laser 3 door 1.6 petrol LHD RS body kit - Picture 1 of 24

That is contender for Car of the Year and if I wasn’t as poor as I am I’d be buying it.

Amazing.

It's in the middle of nowhere, which might make it a bit cheaper. IIRC, the nearest railway station is fucking miles and miles away, too. The Stadco factory in the village used to make doors for ERF lorries, I think.

No mention of the very obvious scrapes - which would probably write the car off (I wonder if it's a write-off buy back) £1200 bills in one year - does it make it a good or a bad buy?

At 148,000 probably pretty worn.

A punt for a little but I think the owner expects more.

Nor do you, you spend all day looking out of the window taking photos of expensive cars.

Given the doomed Astra sat next to it in those pics, thank feck that hasn’t fallen into the hands of those who enjoy “racing” rare metal. Phew.
