That's super-nice! A pretty good price too I reckon.

More basic than mine, but I'd suggest in better condition and just a third of the mileage. Just a 4-speed 'box, but the 2-litre 'six' revs nicely - I used to drive my previous-gen Laurel with the same engine/gearbox combo faster than I do my current 2.4 and 5-speed.

I've placed an offer on this, would love it to join the Sunny :)

I was always disappointed by that too.

My wife loved her Calibra and was most upset when some twat in a Galaxy T-boned her at a junction whilst he was talking on his phone.

Surprised that's not been advertised as 'off-grid camper, van life' for £70,000.

You have to get Sooty out first.

What ballocks is this ?

I quote

Rust free. All standard not messed with. Some of the lacquer has come off. That's the reason for mat black paint. It was my wife's car who has sadly passed away. It was subject to a insurance claim for paint in the past so it is classed as a category n   this dose not affect insuring it or the  the safety of the car.

I translate.

I bought a Cat n right-off in my wife's name.  Repaired it, but couldn't get the paint to match so I came up with a plan. Unfortunately it's a shit plan, but it was cheap, but its not standard looking and not in a good way. Anyway she's dead to me now, left and went back to her mother's house. No you won't be able to see a copy of the death certificate you cheeky cunt.  When I say it's Rust free. I mean the MOT man took a big Christmas tip not to put advisories on the MOT for galloping corrosion and the only reason I'm selling it for twice what it's worth is that it won't pass the next MOT without welding and I'm looking at a 6 month stretch for crimes against taste so wont have time to plastic pad over the holes. The magistrate is a fully paid up member of the MX5 wankrrs club.

Just a few patches don’t sweat it, no big deal, drop him round your local Garage and they probably do it for free straight away just for the experience and enjoyment of working on an old car, they LOVE stuff like that
