That is absolutely wonderful. You could eat your dinner off that engine. I had no idea Alfa engines were silver, the only ones I've seen have been oily black.

Looks a decent project for the money, in that there Brighton:

Seller's description

Family owned car since about 2008. Been in storage for the past year, but was fully serviced before storing it, including new tyres, exhaust, cambelt and radiator. Engine has been run regularly since storing it not just locked away and forgotten. Nice original car, original handbooks, 3 keys including red code key, lots of receipts and well maintained before storage, really good interior, bodywork is okay, it has some scuffs on the front bumper and areas of paint on the roof and bonnet that have sun bleached, but still a fairly presentable car. Will need some recomissioning to make it road worthy as the brakes are sticking on and some of the suspension bushes have perished, but would make a good retro ride as it is or a good base for a restomod. Currently on a SORN, so would require trailer on collection. £600

As none of my M8s are selling a Bedford CF,  I must conclude you're telling the truth.

£300/best offer in Birkenhead. Clutch has gone and  it seems the MOT ran out in 2022. Smash the back lights off, put some proper ones on and could be a worthwhile project?

Wasn’t this an AS resident in the past? The number plate looks familiar.

Looks like the plate on my old Saab convertible that went to someone on here.

Was only talking to @Burnside and @puntopaul the other day about these. £800 is a bit rich in that state but what a thing!

I dunno. Seemed alright to me. I don't think I've ever seen another MS edition (I know it's only stripes and badges) but once fixed this would probably be the only one on the road.

That assumes you could actually get any spares you needed. And successfully drain the headlight...

What would the equivalent fast Ford/VW fetch I wonder?

This gets a 'what was the point?' from me. It's a Marbella fitted with a few 'sporty' bits and bobs and a bigger (FIAT) engine. I don't think there was an Abarth Panda based on wither the Mark 1 or Mark 2 body shape. To each their own I suppose.
