That was the trip where Cabbage learned the instrument binnacle is always lit in a BX even when the headlights are off, which is why he was finding it hard to see where he was going on the way to the fuel station.  BX headlights can be bad but not *that* bad.

Where the line is drawn is a very personal thing. I don't mind a bit of lowering and some carlos fandangos though the number plates on the other hand!

phwoar. I remember my aunt coming to visit in probably around 1988 and turning up in a R16 which was like nothing I'd ever seen before. column shift, electric windows, central locking (I know lots of cars had the latter by 1988 but not any of the shit heaps my dad had owned)
