That's fucking amazing 😍.

KV6 engine could be a liability but the car is a 1999 so OMGHGF x 2 less likely (?) as, allegedly, this is coming into the ZT/75 era. Blurb does say HG and heads skimmed back in 2010. MoT mileage would put that at about 30,000 miles.
Suggestion of possible crispiness in the MoT record but it is a quarter of a century old.....

nice to see the dash has already been 'treated' for the lift they all suffer!!

Early positive earth P6.  Just down the road from me and I'd love another P6, but I have too many ongoing projects as it is and I'm trying to be good.

There's a surprising number of nice low mileage Mondeo's on auto trader.

The obligatory @egg

*Edit: the white one belonged to a fella I know. The arches will need doing soon-ish and he bought the repair panels for them. I think the garage selling it must have sat on it a while as I think it was a year or so ago he sold it to them.

Imagine having thirteen thousand quid and not spending it on this.

It belongs in the fucking Louvre.

I walked past one in Woodstock, Oxfordshire once and genuinely went weak at the knees. Imagine the effect of your most fancied girl - it was like that, took my breath away.

<sigh> Back to Maestro reality.

With your first hand experience, is it a good one?

cant imagine there where many on an R prefix plate, production ended in November 1997 or there abouts (the very last one was registered R1PFX fittingly enough)

would love it myself, but it needs work, and ULEZ will eventually kick it out long before its exempt on historic grounds sadly

do wonder what its story is tho, 1 clean pass MOT in 2013, and thats it, wonder why no one tried for another in 2014 or such...

I do like this shot of it with the LEVC TXe, quite the contrast!

When I got it, it had a massive service history and had just had quite a lot of ABC work done to it. The only issue I ever had with it was fixed by a 30 quid MAF. I did sell it 8 years ago though so I've no idea of it's life since then.

I think at 180k it probably is a pass no matter what. Great to see it made it this far though.
