1.4 in a Cav... bet that pulls like a toy train.

That sold for £7400! I admit it's niche but that must be the best value thing I've seen in a very very long time. I've no idea what you could do with it as there is no drivers seat,  perhaps you could sit in the back and drive it from the remote control.

But the amount of kit on it is incredible, it must have cost an absolute fortune new. I'm tempted to start my own rebel army.

You're dead right someone has done very well there. Those acuators and controllers and hydraulic rams look hideously expensive. If you took all those out and sold them you would still have (most of) a landrover at the end of it.

75 bhp in those IIRC - same as a 1.6 Sierra.

Welcome to MoD procurement - these auctions highlight how much taxpayer's dish is pissed down the drain on pricey unused equipment in all public services.

A load of user choosers at a company I worked at had 1.4L Cavaliers because they could have PAS and Abs as options and be the same price as a 1.6 L Cav/Sierra with metallic paint.  I drove a lot of them and didn’t really notice them being underpowered.

Sorry, where's a 2000? That's a Dolly.

As mentioned elsewhere, I'm in the market for a classic and I've been looking at 2000s, having driven one at length recently and viewed another that was deemed too far gone for the price.

Chevy Chamaro

That is one badly styled car. What's even going on with the mirrors?

Euro market mirrors, just showcasing GM's half-arsed attempt at homologizing them for the EU market. I mean look at the rear bumper...

I'd never noticed the back bumper before you could pitch a tent on that.

Superb cars. My ideal is either a 2.5 pi or a Dolly 1850 or Sprint. Worked in dealerships back in the day.
