I had one of these in Alberto Green back in the late 90s on an N plate. A hateful machine with the horrible 1.3 HCS engine. It was painfully slow but quite nice inside. You need, at the very least, the 1.6 Zetec in a MK6 Escort.

why does it look like he's just thrown that straw in there???

This looks like an excellent proposition

Image 1 - Ford Focus 2.0 ST-170 3dr Petrol

One day we'll laugh about warm Foci being £1500 ish.

Didn't @Cavcraft buy one and store it for this very reason?

He did, then he realised that storing a late '90s Ford long term in a grassy field possibly wasn't the best investment idea.

It’s almost as if he’s taking the piss out of potential buyers due to the ridiculous nature of old Fords. IE; they’ll pay stupid money for any old shite. I should know. I did.

It's a Ford. It'll rot regardless. Aren't they more desirable if they're hanging?

Just in case a Metro wasn't quite grim enough, here's a diesel one.

May be an image of car, outdoors and text that says "METRO K325 SDV 1.4LD"

If I had the room, absolutely would.

Now being flipped on that there eBay, and attracting significantly stronger money than it was up for on Marketplace.

Less of a barn find, this one’s been used as the barn.
