Slightly more sensibly priced than the one Barrett posted a link to the other day.

I sold a car 10 days ago and have money burning a hole in my pocket. My wife just got herself a car and I’ve got the green light to buy a heap.

Annoyingly I missed a pearler of a MK4 Escort estate over the weekend whilst I was up to my fingernails in vinyl Matt white paint, but just look at this steaming Richard!

'key in/fire up/WAIT... Breeze blocks OUT!' no sag suspension option?

One for the Saab lickers, of which I am one.

"In the beginning"... I was looking for a manual, because I've got legs, and I thought it might be more reliable and economical than an auto. However I've softened my view since having @djoptix 's Aero and I like it in auto flavour.

However, I know @mintwth is having autobox woes so I wonder if this could be a donor of a Manuel transmission?

I know it's easy to say these things from behind a keyboard and the reality is two full days of swearing, and that's only if you've got a workshop, a lift/pit AND an engine crane.

But stranger things have happened.

Stick shift 9-5 Aero with some rust on it, £695 Yeovil

Is this the one that was listed (with different photos and possibly a different seller) a month or two ago? There won't be many lhd GTs in the UK I reckon...

It was on copart, then bought by this vendor who immediately advertised it. £1500 is a bit more realistic than £3000 but still a pretty niche market for that I think. I would love it for the £850 it's probably worth

Year’s MOT, £1250. Most tempting.

A lot of car for the money.

However, I tried one in 2016 and hated it. The seat crippled me, the windows kept misting up (even with a new pollen filter), the interior plastics made me physically cringe every time I touched anything, and it had the most indecisive auto box I've ever experienced.

Absolutely cavernous interior and boot, though. Mine was a saloon as well. The estate version must be equivalent to a decent van.
