2003 Mondeo Ghia Estate (Diesel) with power steering fault - £650 - Yorkshire : https://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/132173-silver-2003-mondeo-2l-diesel-ghia-estate-for-sale/

Picture3.jpgPicture5.jpg

Silver Mondeo 2L Diesel Ghia estate for sale. 155569 miles on the clock. 2 previous owners. MOT until 27th Jan 2022.

Exterior has a couple of small dings. Otherwise exterior and interior in reasonable conditions for a car of this age. Car is drive-able but power steering needs some attention and needs new battery. There is also a small leak into the drivers side when it rains which I haven't been able to find.

Car has been serviced every year. New rear break calipers last year. Comes with towbar. Engine runs well.

Good for an enthusiast or for parts.

£650 or nearest offer.

Cheapest SC430 I can recall seeing, not the cleanest body wise but wouldn't put me off...

MOT till September as well, FSH with Lexus too apparently.

Once upon a time, I'd have been snapping that up, alas changed times for me.

Yours for £3250

Now down to £2995.

200 quid MOT failure Rover 75.   Car take back quote is 246 ... and if it is just a spring and suspension arm a few hundred quid could allow a decent diy'er to get it back on the road... and that is the only fail on the recent test

Porsche 924 anyone?

I owned this ex pistonheads SOTW in 2013/2014.

Only done 53k miles...... Bit of artistic licence going on. I bought with 146k and subsequently sold on 147k 🤣🤣. It had zero history before 2007 to corroborate their claim. Under that £2.99 asda steering wheel cover (that I bought!) its badly torn.

I contacted them and they've said they'll update the listing. Hopefully they make the description a bit more representative but I won't hold my breath.

Saehan Max 850

This is special,  google translating text from the ad below to cover everything as this and the story is amazing if true

Unique car with unique history. Should be 1 in 5 left in all of Europe! This is the car's story as it has been told to me (and which matches well with what can be found online): In 1979, GM transported material from the Opel Kadett C production to its factory in Korea, then called Saehan, later Daewoo, later Chevrolet. Production of the Kadett C continued there, including as the Pickup Saehan Max 850. Approx. 100 of these were imported to Greece in the early 80's, but due to some tax / duty trouble they were never sold in Greece and the authorities scrapped most of the cars. But a Norwegian car importer bought some thirty cars sometime in the late 80's. The cars were refurbished, so many were repainted and it was put on a Norwegian-made aluminum plane behind. 28 cars were sold and registered and of these, 23 are. wreck. So this is a pretty rare car I bought this car from an older gentleman (honorary member of the Opel Club) he bought the new one in 1991. The car is guaranteed to have only walked just over 50,000 km. It was on sign and in use when I bought it in 2015. I put it in a barn waiting to renovate it, but so far it does not seem that I will come with the first .. It needs a little cosmetic love and probably a bit technical even now after a few years of hibernation. Went like clockwork when parked.

Strangely I don't hate this.......kind of Tonka vibe from it!!

I was thinking the same, especially at that price. You'd pay five times as much for an equivalent Vdub and this looks much more interesting. I'd happily go touring in that.

Love that. Kadett Cs are lovely regardless. That is a proper little survivor though.

Apparently the subject of a 7000 pound restoration only 2000 miles ago

If you are in the market for a BX as a keeper I would imagine that is a good car to buy, depending on structural integrity of course.
